Much better than rawhide!
Rawhide is such a no-no with its turning to gummy goo and hard to pass through the digestive track. The trachea breaks up and the dogs flip over them! I wish they came in an even count like 4 and 8. I have to buy two packs so each dog gets 3 and I can not always afford them though pricing isn't so bad compared to bully sticks. Those are 3 for 20$. I really consider them almost a 5 but can not select 4.5. If they add one more and up the price 1.00 then it'll be 5!

I have the hardest time finding treats for my Chorkiepoo. He's the finickiest dog I've ever had. I saw the wonderful price on these and thought that at least these wouldn't hurt my bank account if he didn't like them. Well, they did kind of hurt my bank account. He loves them and now I have to autoship twice as many every month. Thank you for a great treat.
My puppy LOVED these!
I ordered one of these to start off with to see if my new puppy would like it, and I have ordered 5 more because he devoured it within an hour! My pup hardly plays with toys, so I've been on the search to find a rawhide alternative that he'll love. I've heard good things about beef tracheas, so I thought these would be a good start. In my order of 5, the tracheas range in size, which I have no problem with, but I just wanted to note that the time it takes for your dog to finish one will differ. I have had a few that are a decent size, then a couple others are more slim. For the price of one, they're well worth it. I will definitely keep some of these on hand and order more because my pup gets so excited about this treat! He will drop whatever he has and hound me for one of these.
Didn’t Last Very Long
Tried this for my Dutch shepherd, husky, and pit mix. It does have an oily smell as they chew but my shepherd finished it in about 10 min. If your dog is an aggressive chewer like mine, I would not suggest this over rawhide or similar but it’s a great snack to keep them busy for a small amount of time.
Quality depends
I was very excited about giving my dog beef trachea due to all the good things that I have heard about it. However, I am a little disappointed because 2 out of 3 of the tracheas were way too oily. My frenchie had a good time enjoying the not so oily one. I have friends who purchased the same product and theirs were fine. So I guess it really depends on which batch you got.

These are really too large to give him a whole piece, so I cut them into thirds. Our pup loves these!
Breaks up in 2 seconds
This was not “chewy”, but brittle and broken up quickly by my Airedale terrier. It was kinda gross when you think about it.
Tasty but doesn’t fully digest
My dog loves this and it took him a good while to finish it, but it didn’t digest as well as I would have hoped. There were pretty big chunks of the bone in his poop undigested. It also was absolutely coated in a thick layer of fat so it was messy. I would probably try this again but just take it away after a while so he doesn’t eat too much in one sitting.
Healthy chew
My Miniature Pinscher Tito who is a chewer way beyond his size loves these. Though difficult to do I cut one into 3 or 4 pieces to make them last. Not exactly cheap, but none of the better chews are (various antlers, etc).
wanted to mix it up
Wanted to try something more natural and give my dog a wider variety other than whimzees. Unfortunately, these were a bust. Smelled them for a bit so I thought she’d warm up and eventually try them, but she won’t even go near them. Worth a try, oh well
