  • pup LOVES them

    By on

Our 4month old pitbull puppy absolutely loves these things. She goes crazy for them and chews on them for hours. This is the only kind of rawhide/chew toy that she hasn't been able to eat quickly. She's still working on her first one and we've had them for about 2 weeks now. As you know, pitbulls have very strong jaws and can chew through just about anything. But not Bully Sticks!!!! Our little family loves these awesome treats and will continue buying them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

  • Can't beat the price but

I have read that some bully sticks have no odor. There is an odor with this stick. From when you open the bag to when your dog is chewing on it, you can smell a weird smell. The price is great so I can look past the smell and have adjusted to it. If you are bothered by weird smells, I do not suggest this brand for you. Also, I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi that is 1.2 years old and about 22lbs. She can get through one of these 6" sticks in 45 minutes to an hour. So it is good as a distraction so I can get things done. She seems to digest it fine and I have been buying these sticks for close to a year. • Lab Loves Them

    By on

My lab loves these, but then again, she will eat anything. She's a very aggressive chewer and one of these will keep her occupied for at least an hour before she loses interest. All told, it probably lasts her 2-3 hours. There is a bit of a smell to these, but not too overpowering. Just need to make sure to keep them in the beer fridge in the basement so they don't smell up the regular fridge.

  • Lost their quality

    By on

These use to be a decent bully stick. However, the last few orders I have gotten have been less than what I would expect for the advertised item that Chewy has listed. The sticks are almost the thickness of a large cooked piece of bacon and my lab can eat it in less than 3 minutes. That is NOT the thickness that is shown on the listing for this product. I won't be ordering them again.

  • Great Alternative to Rawhides, but Active Chewers Beware!

    By on Top 50 Contributor

My pup is not a very active chewer and typically can't even finish a bully stick on her own. Thinking we were clever, we bought the 50 case of these bully sticks to basically have a heavy supply for months. At this rate, however, she'll be through these things in a couple of weeks! Not sure who's fault it is (theirs or mine) but I had no idea these particular bully sticks were so tiny, not regarding height. They are not very thick bully sticks. My pup can go through one of these within a couple of hours. If you have a pup who is an active or tough chewer, these bully sticks may only last a couple of minutes for you. To me, if you have the money to spend, then that may not be a problem for you My pup is not a very active chewer and typically can't even finish a bully stick on her own. BOTTOM LINE: Light chewers could make this last and it's a great alternative to rawhide. If you have an active chewer, however, get longer/thicker bully sticks! … more

  • Great bully sticks

    By on

I bought this for my Pug and Lab as neither of them will let me brush their teeth. The vet recommended having them chew on something like this to at least help in maintaining their teeth somewhat clean while I get them used to the whole brushing of the teeth experience. They both absolutely love these! Aside from the dental health benefits, it keeps them both busy for a while.

  • So thankful for bully sticks!

    By on

My Aussiedoodle and Mini Aussie absolutely love bully sticks. I came across them about 6 months ago and I will never buy any other bone or chew stick again. I mostly treat them with bully sticks when I need "puppy free time"- ya know? Like house work, watching movies, cooking dinner, etc. Keeps them busy while I do my thing. My larger pup is an 8 month old, 45 pound aussiedoodle and depending on his mood, they can last several hours. They definitely last a couple days with my smaller, 5 month old, 15 pound mini aussie. As for the stench? Sometimes they smell and sometimes they don't. Stink or not, definitely worth it.

  • Bully Stick Treats

My blue heeler 1yr old, 60 lb. Bleu absolutely loves these treats. He is deaf, but when he sees me go to the cabinet where I keep them....he ALWAYS comes running because he knows what he is going to get! I like them because they are natural and digested more easily then rawhide treats. My Bella a doxie/terrier cross who is 6 yrs. old and just 18 lbs really has a harder time eating these treats. I'm not really sure why that is, maybe because her mouth/teeth are much smaller. I do like that my larger dog enjoys these so much as I am sure they are much better for him then many other treats. They are very good quality and he goes through a box of one-hundred of them in six weeks or two months My blue heeler 1yr old, 60 lb. Bleu absolutely loves these treats. • Dissapointed

    By on

I buy these every time I make a purchase here and every time the sticks get thinner and thinner. My last order they were about as thick and wide as 2 pencils side by side, they used to be at least 3 times thicker and wider. They used to be basically the same size that the braided bully sicks are now. Very dissapointed in the size difference, my dog goes through a stick in a blink.

  • Dogs were like "Meh"

    By on

My two pups are not very picky. They'll eagerly chew aluminum foil, or used tissues if they get the chance. These bully sticks didn't particularly interest them. The two would only chew them after I convinced them that they weren't getting anything else. They lasted a good amount of time, but only because the dogs didn't really care for them. With any other treat this size, my dogs are obsessed and will chew non-stop until it's gone.
