Not interested
My Maltese pups are not interested in these treats. The treats are big, so I cut them into smaller pieces, but that still didn't interest them. I ended up donating the treats to a food pantry.
Great for teething puppies!
Just gave the last one of these to my 5 month old puppy and they last her about 20 minutes of enthusiastic chewing. They don't smell as bad as some other chews (fishy but not to the point the entire room smells like it) but do leave some scales behind. I would rate this as moderate chewing material and more of a treat than a recreational chew.
The BEST treat according to my dog
My boy LOVES these. He's the best, well behaved dog ever if he sees you going towards them and drooling before you even open the bag (he reverts to his mischievous loving self afterwards). If your dog loves fish, especially salmon, these are a good treat.
Quality treats but not for my pooch
My silky terrier loves it when I cook a little bit of fresh salmon (unseasoned) just for him, so he is definitely a fan of salmon. I have been looking for chewing treats since I didn't approve on the rawhide bones he had in his previous home. He's not a heavy chewer, but he does require something more than just his toys. When I got these I cut them in half to match his size. He snatched it right up after being released from his sit and dug in....and then stopped and wouldn't touch it again. He loves the cod skin twists and I think it's because he can quickly gnaw off bits while this one takes a lot more gnawing and gets wet and slimy. The fact that they get wet and slimy could be due to his size. This is a quality product, but not for my pooch. I gave the rest to a friend whose two dogs gobbled them up.

Puppy loved these. They were not stinky, but wish they lasted longer.
Would Not Order Again!!
These were as hard a brick!! I tried to break with hammer with much difficulty, all I got was EXTREMELY SHARP EDGES. DANGERIOUS FOR MY DOG, I put them in the trash. LOST $$'s

Decent option
Definitely a great option for a quick, healthy chew. Did not expect to last long, but this is what happened. Large breed, 20 pound puppy, finished the smallest skin first. ~90 pound, 1 year old finished second. They got this done within probably 1 minute. 22 pound corgi worked on hers for about 5 minutes before it was gone. They loved it and did not upset any of their tummies(they do get multiple fish oils a day so they know the taste). Would definitely buy again as a special treat for them!
smelly and kind of costly, but Gummi is obsessed
My dog is a rescue who is missing most of her teeth, except for just a few in the back. She needs something she can gnaw and soften with her gross saliva and drool, and these natural chews are really great for her for that reason.
