I got this for my 14 year old Labrador for Christmas. I didn't really know what to expect. Well, I didn't know it was going to be that HUGE. That was for starters. It's a bit messy but HELLO! It's the size of my own leg! He got down and dirty with it like he was a King. He then started picking it up and walking it around! He still gnaws at it. Not a lot but occasionally. So I won't throw it out. I probably won't get another one since it is very cumbersome and messy. But every medium/large dog should be treated to one of these at least once in their lifetime.

Wow! I forgot how large a femur bone is from cattle. The price is very nice, compared to a bone less than half this size for $9.00 at a meat store in Prescott.Az. My Germ Shepherd went through that bone in maybe 3 days. I’m pleased at both this femur and two large knuckle ones I also ordered. My 1 year, 90# shepherd pup loves it.

One of the end broke of when I was unwrapping the bone. My dog managed to break the other end off quickly and was breaking big chunks off that. I threw it away, not worth the risk. She isn't a heavy chewer, I typically give her knuckle and marrow bones without any issues.

Didn't pay attention to the size of these bones - WAY TO BIG. My dogs (a Chow and an Aussie) actually didn't know what to do with them. They had the bones for just a short time and eventually walked away. Kept looking at me like "Mom - what the heck and I supposed to do with this?". So be aware of the size!

These were HUGE! I have 30 lb and 20 lb cavaliers and these bones were the same size as the dogs. I ended up giving them to my parents who have Australian Shepherds, though they're probably still big for them too. I am shocked by how cheap they are for the size.

We got this for our golden for Christmas. He spent a majority of the time he had it just licking it and pulling the small pieces of fat (or whatever it is) off, he didn't even get a chance to really chew on it. I picked it up to move it and it completely fell apart!. Could have done damage if it broke and didn't notice it. Beware.

I have an 8-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who I like to take with me in public. She quickly gets bored, so I ordered a few treats from Chewy that I thought would not only keep her entertained, but would be long-lasting and not be a $10 investment that was gone in 5 minutes. Finally - the pup has met her match! This femur has withstood over forty hours of chewing and is still holding strong. Out of the package it's a bit oily and smelly, so it's not something I'd suggest for inside the house, but it's great for anywhere outdoors. It does have a tendency to chip/splinter a minor amount, but I pick up the chips and move on. Great bone for the price!

This thing is no joke. Labs can barely carry it! They loved ‘em for a good 30 min. then I put the bones away. Brought them out about a week later and they weren’t as enthusiastic. Good for comedic value if nothing else.

Mom got us these giant bones for Christmas and they are amazing! Our teeth are so clean and they last and last. She says she will get us more when we wear out these.
