    Russian Toy dog really likes these

    I like that they are USA origin. My 6-pound Russian Toy is not too keen about “chew toys or:sticks” Decided to give these split eld antlers a try. My dog does chew on them. I ordered the smallest size split elk antler which is still huge for toy breed dogs. After a month of daily chews there is I like that they are USA origin. I ordered the smallest size split elk antler which is still huge for toy breed dogs. After a month of daily chews there is still a good 80% left! At this rate 1 “small” split elk antler may last my Russian Toy breed dog a year! I do like that the split elk antler allows my little guy to get to the marrow right away and the “small” size split elk antler definitely is NOT a choke hazard for him. But still, I only offer it when I am sitting with (or near) him just in case. I have already ordered another one to keep on hand. … more

    Do not buy! Does not last.

    We purchased this Elk antler for our Bernese according to the sizing instructions. Within 10 minutes, the antler had been completely carved out, with what I'd call moderate chewing. This lasted just one more chewing session before the remaining marrow (is that what the inside stuff is?) began to splinter We purchased this Elk antler for our Bernese according to the sizing instructions. This lasted just one more chewing session before the remaining marrow (is that what the inside stuff is?) began to splinter. I was very disappointed because at the price point, this isn't the cheapest of chews. We have had previous elk antlers purchased at an all-natural store last nearly 6 months of intense chewing - that's why you get these things - but this one just didn't live up to it. I would not recommend under any circumstances. I do, however, like Bones & Chews other products! … more
