Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

I’m not sure what happened but the surgical tubing that used to be in the rim that made these so soft and wonderful is now replaced by something hard and stiff. I’ve also noticed that they do not float as well. I have lost seven of these in the last two months with my dogs. They sink in the lake. We live on Sebago Lake, and, the dogs play in the water nine months out of the year. It’s getting to be a line item expenditure to keep buying these frisbees now that they stink and are also not so gentle on my dogs’ mouths. Not sure why the quality change so much and the price went up but they really are disappointing now.
This is an absolute wonderful disc to start your puppy off on the right track with! Now my puppy is nine months old and has moved on to a larger disc that is plastic and she is a beast lol! All thanks to the wonderful beginnings with the flyer!!!
My Wheaton terrier had her teeth go right through the light weight nylon. This company should consider canvas as it’s covering. It was a fun toy for 15 minutes before it fell apart. I would not recommend this toy.
Good quality and the dogs love them. Bindi is a 100 # Aussi Pyrenees and she is extremely ROUGH while while playing. She goes thru 1 a month.
We've gone through over a dozen of these. They should be redesigned with a continuous tube on the perimeter. Instead, they have a hollow tube with a break in it. Our dog loves to get a hold of it and find the break in the tube and chew until the tube comes out. We are done wasting our money. Too bad as it flies well and our dog catches it beautifully. Hope they resesign it!
These need to be taken off the market! What used to be a soft rim has been replaced with a piece of clear hard plastic tubing sewn into the rim. You can see in the photo this is NOT a small piece. The tubing broke leaving an exposed sharp piece of hard plastic. In addition the material is not the same as it used to be. It rips and tears very easily. These used to be called "soft bite floppy discs". Now they are called "tail spin flyers". These are not the same products at all!!!
Booda Soft Bite Tail Spin Flyer Flying Disc Dog Toy Is the perfect size for my Yorkie pup.
She loves to chase it but after the first crash into her gums she wont attempt to catch it. Better for big dogs.
It was a little too "bulky" - does not fly as well or as fast as the Nerf Dog discs he likes....
I have a 60 lb. Aussie Doodle that plays frisbee with me everyday. We ordered the large in this disc and there were a couple of things that make this one no good for us: It's too big & too heavy to fly well, and the out rim is so hard that Sam tried catching it once and it hurt his mouth so that was it.
