These look interesting, however I find them very confusing to even think about buying. I would want to see them from more angles to see the closure. Also why would a boot top have a length of 19.5"? that sounds more like full length measurement of a tall riding boot. These should be avail per width

The measurements are by width. the 19 inches is the width of the entire crown , but there is overlap, that is Velcroed, in order to secure them. The degree of overlap is determined by the size of your leg.
