    Dumb...Not How You Train

By UseYourBrain on Jun 4, 2021

He’s making a quick, easy buck off of these, but how dumb. This is outdated junk, like alpha rolls, water bottles or pushing your dog’s nose into accident spots. Instead of scaring a dog, how about train them? Teach “leave it,” “off,” praise for an alert bark & then redirect attention to a toy, etc.

    This thing works!

By DogMom on Mar 20, 2021

My dog gets into a mode where he just won't listen. He barks/shrieks as loud as he can when he is in these episodes. Common triggers are someone at the door and when we are driving to his favorite places. I know he starts off excited, but then he just goes over threshold and can't control his actions any longer. I didn't have any expectations for this item but there was nothing to lose. I used it the moment someone knocked on the door and it worked!! I took it on our car ride to a friends house and it made him quieter but still excited. I'm thinking of ordering another one to keep in the car so I don't have to remember to bring it back and forth.

    Disappointed

By Barney on May 3, 2021

I have three larger dogs and thought this might help break their barking at the mailman and every dog that gets walked by but it didn’t deter them one bit. Maybe it would work on small dogs, it’s not very loud. Disappointed

    Not a good purchase

By JPow on Mar 17, 2021

This product is big and cumbersome. If you have a dog that is exhibiting behavior issues such as pulling the leash and lunging and you need two hands to hold the leash this isn’t a good purchase for you especially if you have small hands. I’m not even sure someone would want to carry this large instrument along with the dog on a leash, poop bags, etc. It would be fine if this product was two times smaller. You would be better off using a baby rattle.

    Had high hopes but...

By ShadowMom on Feb 9, 2021

Because it's Brandon McMillan, I really thought this would do the trick to break my dog's indoor barking habit. It has two options for noise making and immediately I wrote the clear half off because it wasn't nearly loud enough, but I still had to supplement the plastic beads with coins because the beads are still too quiet. Plus there are no instructions and I didn't figure out I was doing it wrong until I actually watched Brandon's Master Class video about how to shake the bottle and give the command. It looks a lot nicer on my desk than an ugly penny bottle but overall, I've had this tool for a few weeks now and he's still barking a lot so I can't say it works that well.

    Plastic Trash

By RealTrainer on Mar 10, 2021

Chewy - I am seriously disappointed in you. The ad for this useless device popped up on FaceBook. This is an over-priced penny can shaker. Folks - this is an aversive! It is for lazy people - a silly device from the 60's. Set your dogs up for success and you won't need to punish them. Ugh.....

    Do not recommend

By Allison on Mar 3, 2021

Unfortunately this training tool will cause your dog to become afraid of you and avoid you. This is what happens when you are using fear-based, corrective training methods. Do not recommend.

By Darby on May 3, 2021

This didn’t stop my Sproodle at all. He thinks it’s a toy!

    Very loud and effective

By Summer on Oct 20, 2020

It works the same as penny jar but louder. My dog will be good as long as I touch this, no need to shake it at all. The bell shape make the sound echoes better but also not easy to stay balance.
