Bravecto is the only flea and tick treatment to last 12 weeks* with one convenient chew or topical dose. That means nearly 3X longer lasting protection than common monthly treatments. The long-lasting efficacy breaks the flea life cycle and drives fleas into extinction with one dose. And, Bravecto kills ticks faster, killing 100% of attached ticks in 12 hours – whereas other treatments can take over 48 hours.
After you give your pet Bravecto, it quickly reaches tissue fluids just under your dog's or cat's skin. When fleas and ticks feed, they ingest Bravecto and die. Bravecto Chew for Dogs starts killing fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) within 2 hours, and kills ticks (Ixodes ricinus) within 12 hours. Bravecto Chew for Dogs kills fleas, prevents flea infestations, and kills ticks (black-legged tick, American dog tick and brown dog tick) for 12 weeks. Bravecto Chew for Dogs also kills lone star ticks for 8 weeks.
In a US field study where dogs were treated at home, over 93% of dogs ate the chew voluntarily - either by itself or with food.

Bravecto Chew for Dogs is approved for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs.
There are no problems reported in field trials in dogs and cats that received Bravecto alongside other commonly used medicines. However, your veterinarian is your pet's health care expert, so it is always best to discuss all of your pet's treatments with them, whether prescription or over-the-counter supplements.
Immediately bathing, shampooing, or swimming should not affect how well Bravecto Chew works, as it is not a topical treatment. Coat length and grooming or brushing also have no impact on how well it works.

The product insert states that Bravecto should be administered orally as a single dose. In the case that a chew is broken or crumbles, it should be assured that the dog still receives the whole dose.

If vomiting occurs, check with your veterinarian to decide whether to re-dose or not; however, if an otherwise healthy dog vomits within 3 hours of receiving Bravecto, it is recommended that the dog be re-dosed. To help ensure that the dog does not vomit again, it is suggested to wait 24 hours until re-dosing.
If 4 or more hours have passed before the vomiting occurs, it is likely that the medication has been absorbed and the dog is protected. If the vomiting repeats again, do not give a third chew, and call your veterinarian.

The reason I'm only giving 1 star is because when placed order by phone on November 7, 2023 first they told me 2-3 days for delivery, FALSE. First part of order was send to a wrong address, called to see what was going on they updated the address and replaced the first part of the order, they had told me that this item since it was in transit it will get re-routed that didn't happen either this item got delivered to wrong address. Had to call back on November 14, 2023 they aproved a replacement, today I went to track my replacement order and theres no tracking number called again and guess what? It haven't been shipped. Had to call again they told me is ready for shipment and it will take 3-5 business days to be delivered. FRUSTRATING because I'm going out of town and don't have my order and if I don't get it on time the boarding place won't accept my pet. They said that they will put a request for overnight shipping but it was not guarantied.
Bravecto is taken quarterly, and we sometimes forget 3 months have passed since Vel’s last dose. Allmost like clockwork, she’ll begin to itch herself crazy after every walk, we’ll check the last dose date and yep, just over 3 months. Put in a quick order from Chewey with the greatest of ease (and usually a decent coupon) and a couple of short days later, bippity, boppity, Bravecto wrapped in a little treat has her feelin just fine. It’s like magic. She’s never exhibited any adverse symptoms or side effects, though the product does come with warnings. Great product and an even better company to work with. They totally get the concept of customer service. Precious few companies do. I highly recommend both the product and the company.
You insisted on using your portal system to get the approval from my Vet. My Vet has asked you to use the office phone line instead but you insisted and it cost my sick dog extra days to get Bravecto. DO NOT BOTHER ME AGAIN. I wrote a very similar review Already and will not be using Chewy again, if I can avoid it.
I have been using Roberto on my dog for 6 1/2 years now and I’ve never had a problem. When I first adopted my spec and I used it on my little Chihuahua for the last two years. I was using a Ceresco collar which didn’t help at all but once I put him on bravecto I’ve had no problems my dog does very well. It’s a great medication.
It doesn't get any better than that, Chewy is the only name you need to know it's the store with everything for anything you are looking for and don't forget the prices they are unbeatable, Brandy loves it and so do I.
Been using Bravecto to keep away fleas/ticks on our 5 year old Chi-Pin--works beautifully. Never had a flea on him--nor a tick--since using Bravecto. Works much better than any topicals. No issue with side effects. It is expensive for one chew every three months, but worth it.
I have been purchasing Bravetco for Twinkie for years but for the last few uses it appears not to be working and paying such a high price for a flea chew that's not working something is wrong with the product. I just purchased Bravetco in July and she is itching and scratching like she got fleas. Bravetco is suppose kill fleas and other little crawlers. Twinkie is a house pet she is not around other canines or animals so there should not be any problems with this expensive product. She do not have a food allegry, she uses oatmeal shampoo. I would not recommend this item now. I use to brag about how wonderful this product was at the vets clinic not anymore.
My dog was getting extremely sick with nexgauard so the vet recommended this and although it does upset his tummy a little for the first week when I give it to him, it's been great!
High quality and easy to administer. Also the little cake chew toy sent for my dog’s birthday was sooooooo nice. He loves it and it was a great surprise. Thank you.
Chewy confirmed my vet's prescription and sent my Bravecto order promptly so my dogs didn't miss a dose on their regular schedule. Thank you, Chewy!
