Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Bravo making canned foods?

At Bravo we’ve always believed in simplicity, quality and choice. Our new Canine Cafe and Feline Cafe lines provide high - quality, simple limited - ingredient formulas for those pet parents who prefer to feed canned foods.

Are these new products raw?

No, all of our Canine and Feline Cafe products are cooked. However, like our raw diet products, they are made with quality muscle meats and poultry and contain no fillers, preservatives, artificial flavors or meat and poultry meal or grain.

Can I heat these products?

Our Canine Cafe and Feline Cafe products are ready to serve right from the can, but can be warmed slightly if that is what your dog/cat prefers. Do not heat the food in the can. We suggest you transfer it to a microwave safe bowl or dish for heating in the microwave or a pan for gentle heating on the stove. Do not overheat/overcook and feed a hot food to your dog or cat - always try to bring it back to room temperature before serving. Please refrigerate any unused/unheated portions in an airtight container.

  • Recommended quality food for picky eaters!

    By on

I have an immensely picky whippet. He does like this food. It is also a very high meat protein content, which is not always the case with raw foods. So far, I am super pleased with this product and in comparison, the price is right. Thank you!

  • Dog loves it

    By on

I like the ingredients and the dog loves it! This food is far chunkier than many dehydrated (which the dog ate begrudging and he's not a fussy eater.....texture thing I suspect). This actually doesn't look gross out of the bag! LOL

  • Fantastic, affordable, great raw option

    By on

We have 3 dogs all on raw/freeze dried food ranging from 25-55lbs. Finding an option that would work and wouldn't cost a fortune was hard but then we stumbled across this and it's been a life saver!! My dogs love it, even my picky eater, it's easy to handle and has nice big chunks of food you can really see and identify like cranberries, green beans, beef and sweet potato! This is a keeper for sure- we are happy to feed our crew only the best with Bravo!!

I have 3 small dogs, 2 are Yorkies both under 7lbs and 1 Silky is Terrier she is 12 lbs. I have been looking for a high quality food. Bravo has not disappointed me All 3 dogs look forward to eating my male Yorkie is vey picky and he cleans his bowl. I ordered the 6lb bag with a leap of faith hoping they would eat it at $91, I have been feeding them for 2 weeks now and the bag looks full. I thought we would be using it quickly seeing how it's only 6lbs. It truly makes a 30lb worth of food. I will definitely reorder this food.

  • Quality you can see

    By on

I've been searching for a grain free, limited ingredient food for my picky pup for the longest time. This meal looks like a bowl of beef stew - chunks of beef, veggies etc. that you can actual recognize as such. And the value for a dehydrated raw food can't be beat. For the first time in years, my pup jumps for joy when he knows his food is being made. Highly recommend!

I use this as a mixer with other food and my three-month-old Havanese puppy LOVES this! They are hearty, dense chunks. Great quality.

  • Tons of Energy and Less Shedding

    By on

My 9 year old AmStaff had been on a high end kibble for years and did fine on it. Due to a throat issue I decided to try a soft food and bought Bravo Homestyle Complete. It has been about 3 months since I made the switch and he has so much more energy (he had a ton before), his coat has stopped shedding considerably and he even smells better. It is very convenient to travel with this food since it only takes 15-20 minutes to hydrate. I also like that I can see the actual chunks of food rather than the mush that other products produce. The only downside is the price...especially for a big dog. But, if you can swing it, I think its worth it. My dog absolutely loves it!

  • Doesn't hydrate well

    By on

This food sounded like a good thing for my dogs. This is the first time I've tried freeze-dried and I'm underwhelmed. It didn't hydrate well and most of the water ended up in the bottom of the cup. My dogs seemed to like it, but I have pugs, so they're not terribly discriminating. I think I'll try something else.
