Feeding Instructions

For optimal freshness, store in a cool, dry area before and after opening. Refrigerate for extended storage.

Transition Instructions

We recommend a 3 week food transition period be practiced for optimum results.

  • Week 1: Mix 1/4 of food to 3/4 of current food.
  • Week 2: Mix 1/2 of food to 1/2 of current food.
  • Week 3: Mix 3/4 of food with 1/4 of current food.
  • Week 4: Transition is complete and can now be used as main diet.

    Good for birds, not hamsters

    The photo on the bag cover shows mostly corn and sunflower seeds which is all that my hamsters eat from the mix... ever! Having had hamsters for 29 years now, NONE eat millet! In this product it is used as a filler... most of the bag was "filler", and a waste of money because it gets thrown out. The photo on the bag was misleading. Had I looked at the other photos, I would have seen the seed filler and never would have bought the bag...
