- Week 3: Mix 3/4 of food with 1/4 of current food.
- Week 4: Transition is complete and can now be used as main diet.

I have had my birds for 5 years . Tried different types of food, but when I came across encore food this was it my birds know their food they love their food icy a difference I will never ever buy anything but encore for my babies thank you

This is my go-to parakeet seed. I usually purchase it from one of the national chains, but found it less expensive, even with shipping, on Chewy! The estimated shipping date was a little disappointing (with COVID-19 and all), but to my delight it arrived far earlier than expected. You can bet I'll be purchasing Jasper's seed on Chewy from now on. Thank you!

My two year old English Budgie, Nigel, is Mr. Fussy. I went everywhere, tried bulk seeds and every brand I could find. I finally ran across this Brown's seed and figured it was worth a try, a good price too. He loves it!!! In fact, I have to limit the quantity in his cup as he eats non-stop!

I'm Coco, the prissy fancy parakeet and my mom said I should try this food. I dove on it! Very tasty. Only problem is trying to keep Chico, my boyfriend, gobbling it all up. He can be such a pig.

My parakeets prefer this seed to other brands, and it lasts longer because it seems to fill them up more. I tried some other cheaper brands such as Kay-Tee, but it seemed that my birds were hungry all the time no matter how much they ate, and they would start fighting over food. When I feed them this, they eat less of it but seem satisfied.
