The picture for the 4lb bag shows whole peanuts, in the shell, but the 8lb bag picture doesn't show peanuts @ all. So which is correct?

Montys bird food

I love that its the best price right at my door. However 1 of the bags was cut open at the top and there was 1/4 of it all in the box. Kind of messy. Im sure it was a fluke. I will try again. My bird loves this product

parrot likes this food

I like this food for my parrot. He is a little older about 35 years old so he likes the sunflower seeds more. As he gets older. I give him fruit and veggies also to keep him healthy as I can. He is not much for fruit pellets like he use to be...as for the peanuts I break those open. He is not complaining

Wouldn't touch it

Conure and cockatoo... wouldn't touch the sunflower seeds at all and that's their favorite, so it makes me think that there's something wrong with it.... they just picked at the other ingredients, eating very little of it..most of it ended up at the bottom of the cage

ok for smaller parrots

Despite there being a macaw on the package- there are really mostly all very small seeds in here for much smaller birds. My macaws are of course enjoying the sunflower seeds and the few peanuts. I mix it with their pelleted food so it's not their main diet.

Great Service

Ordered this product for my Macaw, and African Grey. Both birds responded well to this seed/grain mix. Best of all, ordered on a Sat, received on Monday. Two day service. Fantastic.

Get rid of the dye.

To be better for the birds and safer please stop making food with dyes and fatty nuts like sunflower seed and peanuts. Use natural food coloring like beet juice etc. Doing this you'd become better as a company and safer for birds. Until then I urge all to pass up any company that uses dyes in their food.
