Good source of fat and energy during winter months or spring nesting.
I’m not sure which birds this attracts, but somebody likes it. I have seen a woodpecker pecking at it though.

I have this out in my yard along with another variety and most of the birds go for the other kind but the bluebirds really seem to like it. The first thing I noticed is that it is the greasiest suet I have ever bought which makes it unpleasant to handle but would not make me not buy it.
Mocking Birds, Woodpeckers, scrub jays and sparrows

This Suet attracts a number of birds. Mocking Birds are feeding their nest bound birds and they will eat a whole Bown's Hi-Energy Plus. I have used 10 packages of Hi-Energy Plus since early April.

The birds choose this over the no-melt types of suet, which is okay in the winter. During breeding season, though, I use no-melt suet because melting suet on birds' feet and bellies can cause egg addling.
Birds love it

Woodpeckers & other birds flock to it! So do the starlings, but I have figured out how to keep them off!

I use this suet all year round as the birds eat it in the summer and it never melts even in hot weather. The birds eat it faster in the colder weather but they eat it
Quite well in the summer too.
Birds love this!

First time I put out suet. It attracted Northern Flickers here in Beaverton Oregon. They loved it and it didn’t make a mess! Loved watching the big birds enjoy this.
