Feed to cockatiels and lovebirds as a daily diet and treat, and to help stimulate the natural foraging instinct to help relieve cage boredom. For optimal freshness store in a cool, dry area before and after opening. Refrigerate for extended storage.
We recommend a 3 week food transition period be practiced for optimum results.
- Week 1: Mix 1/4 of food to 3/4 of current food.
- Week 2: Mix 1/2 of food to 1/2 of current food.
- Week 3: Mix 3/4 of food with 1/4 of current food.
- Week 4: Transition is complete and can now be used as main diet.

Larger Lovebirds

Larger lovebirds preferred Browns Tropical Carnival Zoo vital biscuits. The smaller ones and younger (<6 mo.) ones would have difficulty with the portion size.

Sunflower seeds

Personally I think this has too many sunflower seeds in it. They are not good for pet birds because of their high fat content and shouldn’t be fed daily and only used as a treat. So unfortunately I probably won’t buy this again for that simple reason. Sorry!

My Cockatiel really seemed to enjoy this particular food and also eating all of it. Other food I have purchased he will pick and choose what he likes and the rest is wasted.

Always bought bird food at a local store. After seeing the variety in Brown's food will never go back to the other food. Our birds LOVE this food. We also buy Brown's large bird food for our Cockatoo and African grey.

I've been trying to find a combination product with seeds and pellets. This product is too heavy on the sunflower seeds I feel.
