Love the ingredients on this one and that it doesn’t promote a “sleepy” effect. However these chews are all different sizes in the bag, they smell very terrible and my cat wasn’t a fan. I believe because of the smell bc she usually eats ANYTHING.
My grandson Otis, which is my son's cat. He is very special. Very loyal, loving, empathic, social, and communicates. He's a Bombay cat! He was found the year ending 2017 in a junk yard. He has anxiety. These treats are very helpful for him to calm down and rest. Just don't give your pet too many, it knocks them out like Benadryl does to some people. I strongly recommend this if your cat has anxiety.
My cat is so picky. He either hates treats or loves them. There’s very little in between. I’ve found that he loves these and gets them daily. They are a great daily supplement that seem to have built up in his system, making him less anxious or grumpy.
My cat isn’t picky, but he wouldn’t eat it. I put it in a wet food to hide the horrible smell then I can trick him to eat it, but I didn’t notice him being calmer. He’s still abusing the other cat :(
I was originally hesitant to try these because my cat can be finicky (surprise, surprise) but she actually eats these pretty easily. Sometimes I will break 1 chew up in 2 and give one her one in the morning and one a bit later since she is on the smaller side. They seem to make her more chill each day.
These calming chews DO work. You won't see an immediate difference just a slow calming effect. Our kitty had been climbing the draperies among other things. These help relax her. Worth trying.
First one eaten eagerly as a new snack. After that, Molly will not touch them, in fact tries to bury them. First one had her sleeping for hours. Not the effect I was seeking.
As soon as I opened the bag, I got a whiff of a “medicine” scent. Neither my cats or my dog will eat them.
I'm sure this is a wonderful product, but I can't tell you because not one of my 6 cats will touch them after sniffing them, even if mixed in food.
