    Guilt-free and nicker-worthy!

    After a couple of years feeling guilty about feeding peppermint candies to our horses, I was excited to try these. All the horses like them (unlike some other "natural" or no-sugar items which they spit out) and some of them definitely prefer these to the candies, asking for them with pricked ears and After a couple of years feeling guilty about feeding peppermint candies to our horses, I was excited to try these. All the horses like them (unlike some other "natural" or no-sugar items which they spit out) and some of them definitely prefer these to the candies, asking for them with pricked ears and soft nickers. I tried one myself and they're very palatable (might be good in a bowl with milk poured over?) I love not having plastic candy wrappers to throw away! Also the size is just right so one is enough, and giving two isn't too much. The texture is hard enough so they don't break into crumbs in my pocket -- definitely a plus! It's wonderful to feel good, not guilty, about giving a treat. … more

    Cookies too Small

    Make the size bigger horses drop the small pieces and fingers are compromised

  • Ok, but not enough peppermint.

    My horse nearly goes wild when a peppermint is on the way to her mouth. These are little discs, about the size of quarter, that look like they are made of grain. They have little peppermint smell. My horse eats them, but not nearly as enthusiastic as a real peppermint.
