    Sugar Free Is Worry Free

    By guinealover123 on May 2, 2018

My horse has sugar issues and I have to be careful about what treats I feed her and since these are no added sugar treats I can give her more. She loves these treats they are her favorite and she hates EVERYTHING i love them too.

    Ok, but not enough peppermint.

By Susie on Oct 24, 2017

My horse nearly goes wild when a peppermint is on the way to her mouth. These are little discs, about the size of quarter, that look like they are made of grain. They have little peppermint smell. My horse eats them, but not nearly as enthusiastic as a real peppermint.

  • Approved By Fussy Mares

I ordered these for my friend whose fussy mare wouldn’t eat any treats and she loves them! They look like large dog kibble and are a perfect size to carry in your pocket.

  • Guilt-free and nicker-worthy!

    By on

After a couple of years feeling guilty about feeding peppermint candies to our horses, I was excited to try these. All the horses like them (unlike some other "natural" or no-sugar items which they spit out) and some of them definitely prefer these to the candies, asking for them with pricked ears and soft nickers. I tried one myself and they're very palatable (might be good in a bowl with milk poured over?) I love not having plastic candy wrappers to throw away! Also the size is just right so one is enough, and giving two isn't too much. The texture is hard enough so they don't break into crumbs in my pocket -- definitely a plus! It's wonderful to feel good, not guilty, about giving a treat. After a couple of years feeling guilty about feeding peppermint candies to our horses, I was excited to try these. • Yummy for Rusty

    By on

Rusty star loves these treats. You can feed them by the handful or use them individually as a training treat. Your horse will love them. Mules and donkeys like them also. They are a dime size crunchy treat. My mastiff likes them too. Not a bad price and you can always count on Chewy’s fast delivery. Doesn’t get better than that. I do recommend them.

  • If I could give more than 5 stars, I would

David Lichman introduced me to these. Small, dry so don't get moldy. So much easier than cutting up carrots and they can be kept in the car for those moments when you horse comes running up and you want to reward the exuberance. I wonder how I lived without them. Only one of our six horses does not seem to think they are fantasticl he is still a carrot fan but he is getting more enthusiastic.

  • Picky pony approved!

My horse loves these!! I like that theyre low in sugar and that theyre tiny little wafers (which means my pony gets treats more frequently but isnt necessarily eating a lot)... a bag lasts long time and its easy to fit several treats in my pockets:)

  • Healthier than candies

    By on

Our older horse really loves peppermint candies but we were worried about the sugar (especially when the grandkids were doing the treating). These treats are a great substitute: peppermint flavor in a healthier bite!

  • Sweet treats

All the horses at the barn like these. They smell minty and are normal small sized treats that fit in your pockets. Good for training or earning trust.

Our little mule, who is terrified of people, was actually coming up to the fence & taking these treats out of my daughter's hand.
