I love the texture of this feed. The added MSM is super helpful & alleviates the need for extra supplementation.

Great product. I add one scoop of soaked beet pulp with no molasses, one cup black oil sunflower seeds, one cup ground flax, and 3/4 of a pound of balance or twice a day. My twh ‘a are 24 years old. And is full of spunk and we still ride .

This is perfect if you are managing a horse with Cushings.

My OTTB is 28 this year and has "old horse teeth" problems which the veterinarian takes care of as needed. These tiny pellets are great because they create no problems when I add them to his "mush bucket." He cleans every speck of the feed. The joint supplements are a bonus, too.

I really appreciate that I can purchase this product through Chewy. I've used Buckeye feeds due to its quality and consistency. Chewy saves me time and money being able to deliver it to my door. Kudos to both Chewy and Buckeye Equine feeds.

Been looking for an easy to eat balancer for my my easy keeper seniors and not as old, fast eating mare. The pellet is much smaller than what I have been using and a bit easier to chew. Everyone has slowed down on their chewing and clean their buckets. Going to keep this one and hopefully continue to be a good brand and bargain.

We recently switched to this from Buckeye Grow N Win. This is a great food. We have a 15 year old Miniature Horse mare named PopTart and she gains weight very easily. This food has been perfect since it provides her with the vitamins and minerals she needs without adding alot of extra calories. The senior formula also has supplements for her joints!

Palatable, visible difference in condition for super easy keeper nd better joint movement with the MSM; he looks great. Price went up $5.00 a bag, so it is reaching the too high to justify stage, however, if price stays where it is I will continue to purchase from Chewy vs less expensive local feedstore options.

I have had my 21 year old senior on this feed for a year now and I absolutely love it! I feed my horses soaked beet pulp pellets instead of grain so I just add this into their feed to give them a complete diet. If my senior ever needs any extra calories I just add some rice bran. My 21 year old quarter horse has a tail that drags the ground and the thickest mane I have ever seen and always grows out a beautiful winter coat and slicks out shiny in the summer! I switched my 16 year old paint from Buckeye's Gro N' Win to this Senior Balancer just to make my life easier and since this comes in a bigger bag. Can't say enough good! I have seven horses on this from 2yrs to 22 yrs, they love it and all are energetic ( I was a bit worried about my 22 yr old arab mare as she seemed to be lackluster in mood and energy but once she was on this for two wKs there is an amazing difference in her) I was concerned about a alfalfa pellet and balancer diet at first but now I am sold on it. All 7 of my horses are doing beautifully
