Mix-up

I know this review is for chicken but here is the mix up. I had a 7oz bag of buddy Turkey jerky. Standard poodle pup loved it. Small pieces- 1”. Perfect for good behavior treats. I ordered another 7 oz then saw the large size bag for better cost. Somehow (my mistake or theirs? Or hit wrong button) I ended up with large bag of chicken. Didn’t want chicken. AND - the pieces were HUGE. 8”+ long. Thick. Tough. Maybe 8+ in bag. Not cost effective for treats. Not easy to cut in half. Great for large dog but I still think a pricy treat. or, I suppose, a small dog for long term chewing. (But we are told not to give giant treats to small dogs unsupervised (choke hazard). For me-a waste of money.

Too Crunchy, Not Jerky!

This is sold as jerky but there is no flex to it and it is very rigid and crunchy. We gave them to a friend with large breed dogs and can easily crunch a tough snack like this. They are about the rigidness of a bully stick. Good for a dog that needs a chew, but not jerky!

Dogs Love Them

These are a big hit. My little dog stands on her hind legs when I grab the bag. I really like that I was able to order a small bag for less $. I try to buy better quality treats for my dogs and trying new products that they don’t like gets expensive. I wish more companies would offer a small bag to test out their products.

Begging for more

Both of my dogs love this chicken jerky. My Chiweenie will push his other treats to the side to get to a piece of this.

Picky dogs love these

My two picky dogs love these treats! They are crunchy, but not too crunchy. They don’t have the added ingredients a lot of other jerky treats do. They’re perfect!
