Wet your pup down then apply the shampoo from the back of his ears to his tail, carefully avoiding his eyes. Lather, rinse and have fun!
The shampoo is very watery and does not lather. Did one wash and gathered my dog was still dirty as the shampoo never lathered on her coat. Did two additional washes with the same result. Gave up pulled out our dog Chi Shampoo and was finally able to lather her up. Disappointed as Burt’s is one of my favorites, guess not for pets.
I have been buying this shampoo for my dog for years. I recently got a new bottle and it was super watered down, it didn't lather and it didn't wash my dog like it used to. I assume they have either changed the formula or the product is watered down... Not buying this again.
Not this to use on my tiny dogs. I had to use another soap after wards. These dogs are 3# and 4 #, so when I say tiny, I mean it. After washing and drying the dogs, they still looked and felt dirty. I had to use a different soap to get them clean. Waste of money, time and water. Chewy, take this item off your website.
No smell, super watery, and doesn’t wash my dog at all. He still stunk after I gave him a bath and I scrubbed him very well with the soap.
Not a fan. I thought having the Burt’s Bees name would mean this is a great shampoo. It has no lather. And I tried with lots of water, lots of soap, a little soap, etc. I wasted over half a bottle trying to wash my 40lb dog because I couldn’t tell if the soap was on him or even working. I only bought this because my regular, cheaper, shampoo was out of stock. Definitely never buying again.
This is the worse shampoo ever used on my furbabies! Doesn't lather and you use half the bottle trying to get the suds!
This seems very gentle with no overpowering fragrance. Cleans and rinses well. Left my Cockapoo clean, fluffy and soft. I like this shampoo
I use this to bathe my Labs and it works pretty good. It helps control itching, cleans well and the fragrance is good. I do have to use a lot of it to thoroughly lather up the Labs. A bottle gets us about five dog baths.
My American Bully has some of the worst skin allergies I've ever seen....to the point that we didn't know what to do. I eliminated things from his diet and he got put on apoquel but when the vet told me he needed bathed once a week I was dreading it due to his sensitivity to anything we'd ever put on him (have to even wash anything he touches with certain detergent etc). I'd tried a few other shampoos but to no surprise he broke out rather quickly with them but not this stuff. This shampoo is literally the only thing that works for him! It lathers fine and smells pretty good. He always feels super soft, his coat looks really great, and he itches way less than he ever has before.
I have used this brand for a long time. For an inexpensive shampoo, it works pretty well.
