Not what I was hoping for
I have two tiny Yorkies. One has silky hair, but one has very thick fine hair that mats very easily. I was trying to find a wire brush without plastic tips on the end because my old Lil Pals brush has lost a lot of tines. The plastic tips grab and pull that fine hair. This brush was not the solution. Even with that thick hair, the tines would rake against her skin. I can’t imagine using this on a puppy. It might be fine for some coats. Maybe Lil Pals will go back to making their original brush without tips.
Good Overall
This brush is better for thicker hair puppies since it is rough and sharp bristles and may hurt the puppies if brushed too hard . But over all it’s great , removes hair and leaves looking good !
