Excellent as a toy, too
My ball loving dog has great fun chasing this. We have a blacktop driveway and it bounces crazily giving him a run for his money. It also lasts a long time even though he tends to chew on it. I don't put treats in it as it would just encourage him to chew on it more. I can usually get about 6 months of use out of one before it gets to the place I'm afraid he'll chew off pieces big enough to cause digestive trouble if swallowed. We are on our 5th one. Even after he's chewed off bits, it still bounces like crazy and is fun to chase. He does acrobatics trying to catch it in the air.
NOT a tough toy!
This toy was destroyed in no time! I bought two of them, one for each dog. When I received them, they seemed to be fairly sturdy but the dogs proved me wrong. I have two Staffordshire Terriers and they destroyed them and continued eating them until I noticed and took the toys from them. Cute toy, but not tough at all, for big dogs anyway.
Favorite Toy of All Time
I would give this toy more stars if I could. I have a 50 lbs. lab puppy, and I can safely leave this toy with him. It is the only treat-dispenser that he has not destroyed, and this one is in perfect condition after months of intense chews. I use his regular kibble in the two smaller holes as they dump out of the largest. It is heavy, and he likes to drop it, so it may not be a great toy if you like your downstairs neighbors.
keeping him busy!
It's bigger than I thought, but my golden doodle is working hard at it. I did have to trim the tips of the rubber triangular pieces. The treats we use could not get out at all, but that's a simple fix.
Pretty big for a small
I think they should list the dimensions on this toy, not just “recommended weight.” It’s pretty big around for my miniature poodle & very awkward to play with. Not happy with this one, will be giving it to a bigger dog.
Tough Dogs
I have boughten this item 3 others times. I love how it has 3 holes to fill. Most interactive only have one or two. Also, it very easy to clean most Kongs or other plastic interactive toys have one opening making it very difficult to keep clean. Also, it bouces as is great for big dogs.
Oh, barnacles!
I like this for my puppy. It tilts, rolls, bounces, and keeps her busy very well. I used the very small or the largest holes for her treats, but she knows what to do and she keeps at it. She's very persistent, so I'm glad I chose this fun toy.
Drives Her Crazy!
She can’t get the treats out! When she gives up, she gets stressed and brings it to us for help. We can’t get them out either and we also get stressed! We have tried table knives to break up the treats into smaller pieces to shake them out, but even that doesn’t work. We cut off the rubber teeth but even that does not make it any easier to win getting a treat.
Great toy!
My pup get treats out quickly of most toys and I was looking for something more challenging for her. Its great!!! I love watching her bounce it around to get the treats. I did cut some of the plastic because it was too challenging at first. That's what the toy directions recommended. I also give it to her on days that are cold and she's got a lot of energy... Just great.
Best toy ever!
This thing is amazing! It has kept my dog occupied for hours! I will probably trim the inside tassels because it is challenging to get the treats, but my doggo doesn't seem to mind.
