Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

The Toy With Built-In Rewards
Busy Buddy interactive toys are made for exactly what the name says—keeping your buddy busy doing the thing he loves to do (chew). These durable treat-holding toys give him an extra reward for chewing the things he should be chewing, instead of the furniture. Playtime is sure to last much longer as he tries to solve the puzzle to get to the tasty rawhide rings.

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup
Dogs love to chew because it satisfies instinctual urges. Busy Buddy toys give them the same satisfaction they would get by catching prey in the wild and being able to eat what they catch. There's a Busy Buddy toy for every type of four-legged hunter, and each is made with durable nylon and rubber that has a pleasant vanilla scent.
More Than Just a Puzzle Toy
Aside from being a fun and challenging puzzle toy, the Busy Buddy can help prevent bad behaviors like inappropriate chewing, excessive barking and digging through the trash. It's also the perfect solution for separation anxiety or boredom and makes a great training reward. The varied textures and rawhide rings keep pups content and engaged for hours.

Treat Ring Refills
You can refill your dog's Busy Buddy with several flavors of treat rings, including natural rawhide, peanut butter or bacon. Some have added health benefits, like the Dental Support rings that help clean teeth and freshen breath, or Joint Support rings with glucosamine and chondroitin. Each package is labeled with the ring size that will fit.
Ultra Toys for Determined Chewers
For heavy chewers, a Busy Buddy Ultra toy might be the best option. They're designed to challenge your dog even more than regular Busy Buddy toys. The Ultra Sub has treat rings that spin, and the Ultra Stratos is the same diameter as the rings, making them harder to grip. The cone-shaped ends of the Ultra Woofer present a trickier challenge as your dog figures out how to get to the ring.

Like ice cream for kids
By Danni on Apr 15, 2021
Our dogs loved this as a treat dispenser - we got two, one for each dog & these keep them quiet & chewing on the treats for 10-20 minutes. Great for keeping them occupied in the crate for a break. Without the treat, our "chewer" likes to knaw on the bone-shaped ends, but he is breaking pieces off already. One dog also plays with the bouncy ball separated from the "bone". Unfortunately, we already broke one toy throwing it around in the backyard - the bone part is made of a rigid plastic & shouldn't be thrown. I'm ordering a replacement since both dogs love them so much.

We live by these!

We have a large rottweiler. They last for months and buy two at a time for a back up. They get a bit sharp and are hard on the floors when they drop bit worth it. No choking hazards. He sleeps with his

consider the breed ?

Our sheltie is able to get the both treats off within 10 minutes and is not interested in the toy after that. Not much of a challenge for a dog with a small muzzle.

Order one size larger than you think
By Mnlooney on Jan 18, 2021
We use these bones for the rescues at my work and they’re super durable. I bought one for my 15 week old corgi puppy and the size guide says a medium would be good for dogs up to 50 pounds so that’s what I ordered. This bone is quite small and would no way be suitable for a dog in the 30-50 pound range. Chewy customer service is FANTASTIC and allowed me to donate the bone to our rescue dogs and order the appropriate size with shipping waived which was great. While the toy is durable, we do have large dogs at my rescue who have chewed chunks off of them so I would monitor aggressive chewers with this toy. But for an average chewer it’s super durable.

Disappointment
By Fave on Dec 30, 2020
Wish I had been able to see this item before purchasing it. From the description provided and being familiar and comfortable with Pet Safe thought it would be good for my pup. However once it arrived and after removing it from the package had second thoughts to the point of never giving it to my pup who is somewhat of an aggressive chewer. Since I have not given my buddy the opportunity to explore and chew this toy it is not possible to properly determine the quality of the product. The reason I have not given this to my best friend is since he is an aggressive chewer my concern is him getting the thing apart and possibly getting it caught in his throat. Would just urge possible buyers to Wish I had been able to see this item before purchasing it. Fun but Noisy
By EmpressE on Feb 27, 2021
My dog loves this - as with anything related to food - but I will have to save it for warmer weather and make it an outdoor toy, since the hard parts make a lot of noise on our hardwood floors. Would be much better on carpet!

Great for Entertainment
By Lucy on Feb 10, 2021
Busy Buddy lives up to it's name. It truly keeps "Lucy" entertained. She is a large breed puppy and can work this toy over. She even likes chewing on it without the treat in it. Busy Buddy is easy to clean too. Just as an FYI, it will "flake" as dogs chews on it..

Lola loves the Busy Buddy Chew toys
By Lola on Feb 10, 2021
My French bulldog has had multiple Busy Buddy chew toys and chews them constantly. We recently bought the Bouncy Bone Tough Dog Chew toy and the end on the bone snapped off the second day she had the toy. Very disappointed but hoping it was a quality control issue.

Good concept bad design.
By Ace221 on Feb 2, 2021
My dog enjoyed it for 2 days. Day 3 he somehow managed to get the pieces apart, even though I’d twisted them tightly and before I realized he had it apart had destroyed the threaded end so they no longer can be put together. So now he has a purple ball and two plastic bone pieces to chew on.

WestiePoo Approved
By WestiePoo on Mar 12, 2021
My 1 year old loves this. I went and purchased another for my neighbors dog. The treats is what she loves about it, otherwise it sits and gets a nudge every now and then.
