Durable beyond expectations

Maxamillion Chewster III, aka Cosmo, destroys toys like he's getting paid to do it. Toys are purchased and the life expectancy is measured in minutes. An hour is a good performance. This toy - this toy lasted a MONTH, and it was a clear favorite, along with his other Busy Buddy that was recently rediscovered. Great toy, gave him a lot of chewing satisfaction. He finally figured out how to get the whole thing apart and chewed on the threading and it won't go back together. I'm purchasing a replacement immediately as well as gifts for his doggy "cousins" for Christmas. If you have a destructive chewer, this one will give you value for money.

Good item for boredom

My dog is a huge chewer. He loves this toy but it’s not my absolute favorite of this type of toys that he has. The same brand with the brushes I like better, but I still use this one too. The rings take a while for him to chew to, but he does chew on the ends of it so they get all scratched up and stuff. Not a big deal, I’d still recommend this if you want multiple boredom buster toys.

Puppy loves it

This is a huge success and a bit more challenging than the other Busy Buddy games. We have a few of these types of toys from the same brand and they are all a huge hit. My 2 &1/2 year old bulldogge loves them all, especially loves chewing on the bone & jack ends. He hasn't quite figured out how to remove the treats so it keeps him busy for quite some time. I did notice he can chew off small pieces of the plastic ends but he spits them out & this is the only toy (out of 3 Busy Buddy toys) that seems to do this. This large is a perfect size for him. I did buy the wrong size rings the first time so be careful about that. If you buy a large toy get the "C" rings.

Unimpressed, and that's the dogs' review

I bought one of this model and 3 others and my dogs will play with none of them. Even when I offer them one of the rawhide rings, they won't touch it and these dogs eat poop, feathers, dirt, you name it and ALL treats. Until now. Spent about $100 on the toys and the refills and they all going into the trash, sigh.

When I originally bought this I bought the large thought it would be to big for my medium sized dogs. I was wrong it’s easy for them to hold in their paws and maneuver to chew on, it’s been well chewed and continues to be a favorite of dogs who visit, just ordered one for one of my grand puppies

Thought it would take them longer to figure out the rawhide insert, but the boy got it in 10 min and the girl gave up so now the boy is getting two treats! Even without the rawhide s the dogs like chewing on these. The plastic does get sharp once they’re chewed on it so putting another treat in is more difficult, but I just wear gardening gloves.

Great for chewers

My dog loves these chew toys and this one is the best. It takes her forever to get the rawhide out of it. She gets one refill a night and you can be sure she will bring you her toy every night for that refill. She is a very hard chewer and the toy did get rough edges from the chewing so I have had to use a towel to unscrew it but it is hours of enjoyment for a very active dog. Get the double pack of refills when you buy this. They do go fast if you put both in every time.

This toy is heavy but boy does my 80 pound GoldenDude love it! Yes it is all chewed up at the ends and difficult for me to replace the treats between the gears - BUT I just put some garden gloves on and get it done!
