It states the treat meter is adjustable but in one of the questions below you answer it is not. Could you please clarify. Thanks!
Answer by ChewyMay 24, 2018
The Treat Meter is adjustable, allowing pet parents to control the speed kibble and treats are dispensed and slow down dogs who love food so much they forget to chew.

Doesn't stay together

It scratches really easily, my dog has had 3 meals out of it and 2 of those times it fell open. As he paws it around it seems to come unscrewed and falls into two pieces. Then he just eats all the kibble out of the middle which doesn't help his fast eating. I had to trim the little finger things down a little to help the food come out faster otherwise it took over an hour for him to eat

Easy when busy

Easy on a busy morning. I just put the dogs breakfast in there and she eats as we get ready. Entertains and keeps her out from underfoot as a busy house hold is getting ready in the morning for school and work.

not for heavy chewers

This ball is great for dogs who need to work for their dinner. I’ve used it with 2 different dogs with very different personalities and they both loved it. However, not for heavy chewers as the rubber lining can easily be torn off and consumed and then the hard plastic can be broken and ingested if dog is determined enough and unsupervised. I tore off all the soft rubber and then supervise the make sure ge doesn’t destroy the hard shell.

Challenging and Moving

My American Pitbull chases this thing all over the house trying to get kibble out. When she gets frustrated though she picks it up and throws it or chews it. Cannot get it to twist open any longer as a result. Makes it hard to get kibble in now. But still use it because it gets her moving.

Cheap kibble toy

I keep trying to find a kibble toy for my big dog, but this doesn't work. It is hard to close, his kibble all fall out in 30 seconds, and it falls open if it hits anything.

Breakfast in the Egg

I've used these with several high energy or anxiety dogs. Making them work for their food is so good them and is a great way to help release some pent up energy. A little hard to close sometimes but otherwise great.

Go ahead! Play with your food!

For a couple of years, my dog has had a treat ball after meals and enjoys it. So, I looked into what was available for regular feeding. He isn't fond of slow feeders and doesn't really gulp his food down. He just loves to bat the ball around and get a reward for it. Intro Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble. He loves it, and I'm happy to let him play with his food!

Great interactive toy

Small is great for 9lb pomeranian, larger is great for 51lb staffy GSD mix. The larger one untwists open after awhile, so I just check it after a bit and tighten it. The small one stays shut no problem and I've had it for a couple years now. I don't leave these out; when they are empty or if the bigger dog starts to chew it, I take it away; so they've lasted longer then otherwise. They are a little noisy naturally, it's hard stuff rolling around inside hard plastic... but I don't care cuz they are stimulated and occupied. I don't use it as slow feeder, so I don't fill them up; and this partial fill lasts a good 10 minutes or so, which is perfect so they don't get frustrated and destructive. I usually hand wash them, but I have thrown them in the dishwasher and they seem fine. If they got damaged or warn out, I would definitely buy another one!

LOVE this!

This is great as both a treat you and a slow feeder. My dog eats way too fast and then whines because she wants more and with this I fill it with her kibble and she is mentally stimulated while also feeding herself slowly. I can also put treats in it and leave it out while I’m at work so she has something to do. Best dispenser of this sort that I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried several)

Tough Puzzle for Newbie

My dog has eaten out of maze bowls but never toys like this. She had a super tough time figuring it out and even when I made the “prongs” shorter, she had a hard time getting the food out and just seemed frustrated. If you are looking to level up on your dog’s smarts, this is the toy for them. If your dog is a beginner, start somewhere else.
