  • Good idea, blah results

    By on

I loved the idea of using this to feed my dog her second meal while I was not home, in order to keep her preoccupied. However, the sound of the food being tossed around in the bottle freaks her out so much that she won't even approach the toy. I plan on just finding someone else in my family or something that might like it.

  • Not for heavy chewer

This lasted maybe 4 hours before he chewed right through the rope! Probably because he was frustrated the treats weren't coming out fast enough. But even with the broken rope it provides for entertainment and slower eating.

  • Too Heavy for me

    By on

I kinda of like this toy. I am 16 weeks old golden fetcher and Mom got this for me and my sister. But right now it is too heavy. but I like that when I roll it around it spills out food. Don't tell Mom, though. I make sure its all cleaned up before she comes in the room.

  • my bulldog loves it

I have a bulldog that usually tears every toy apart, this toy is pretty sturdy. She hasn't quite figured out how to get the treats out and thinks that slamming the bottle on the floor will do it. She chewed on the rope and undid it so it made it very thick and it is covering the bottle neck where the treats would come out, you can still get some out but it just made it twice as hard to get them. Other than the rope issue, its a great toy.

  • Great fun interactive

Chevy my golden retriever is a busy guy. He loves to carry this and fling it. I put many different size goodies inside. This keeps him busy for hours. Great fun

  • Awesome toy

    By on

I got this for my 8 week old goldendoodle. From the moment I gave it to him he was intrigued by it. He played with it and I hadn't even put the treats in! After I put the treats in, it took him awhile to figure out how to get his treats. It's an awesome toy that ocuppied my puppy's curiosity. He plays with it all the time. I highly recommend it for any age dog!!

  • Lasted 5 minutes

I was very excited to get this for my dog, but he had it for 5 minutes before he destroyed to rope portion and rendered the toy useless

  • Not worth the money

    By on

The food falls out too easily eliminating the whole point of the toy - to make the dog work for what's inside. The idea of it is great, just not the toy itself. I love Busy Buddy toys so I figured I'd give this a shot but it wasn't worth it. $15 is a lot to spend on a toy that my dogs don't play with IMO but we live and we learn!

  • Intermittent reward

I have a very assertive, active 8 year old mini poodle who loves this. I got him the size small which is larger than I thought it would be, but he can still handle it. This is a great toy for a smart dog! I would not, however, use this as your dog's first puzzle toy because it is pretty challenging. A better pick for a first toy is the Buster Cube. The Tug a Jug toy seems to get more difficult the less food there is inside, so when you give it to doggie for the first time, make it pretty full. My dog has been known to play with it for at least an hour at a time, which is a fantastic break for me and very good for him.

  • Chewed through the rope

    By on

Toy was clever but dogs destroyed the rope portion quickly rendering the puzzle useless. The quality of the rope was poor and should have been made from strong material that wouldn't have shredded so fast with paws and teeth.
