  • Fun for puppers

    By on

My puppy, a 15lb terrier mix, loved this. Filled with big dog food (he loves his big sister's food ) and set to a small opening, it kept him busy half an hour. The bigger dog got jealous and attempted to eat the whole thing. But proper supervision will easily prevent this toy from being destroyed. I wouldn't mind the product being larger, cuz this little dude can work it like nobody's business! Bouncy and spinny fun with plenty of holes to tease pups and show them the treats inside. I can see how a very smart dog world open this immediately, but so far my pups twist it the wrong way. :) I have the tug jug from busy buddy as well, and it's a favorite. We've actually bought quite a few through the years since ours get forgotten. Their products have all been high quality, none have broken, and none have been chewed through. IMHO That's amazing since I have 3 dogs... 2 pitties and a small terrier. The "mushroom" style treat dispenser so far has been the only one they've figured out immediately by this brand. … more

  • Amazing, if your dog doesn't figure out the trick.

    By on

My pup's breed is half schipperke, half lab, so you can imagine she's probably the most intelligent thing i've ever met. I bought this to help her stay stimulated and keep her happy. She figured out that if you whip your paw hard enough at the right angle the toy will roll and BAM all the food rolls out. SO it went from keeping her busy for some time the first day ..to a matter of only seconds it was empty the second. Amazing concept, love it, she loves it, need to figure out a way around her being so intuitive.

  • LIFESAVER! Slows down pups eating

    By on

My 3 month old puppy will chow down his food in less than a minute. I put his kibble in this toy and let him roll it around his soft crate (to keep from the kibble bits getting everywhere/lost in the house) and my pup loves it. It doesn’t hold the full amount of kibble (maybe 1/4 of a cup) but I don’t mind refilling it if it’s slowing down his eating. Seriously a lifesaver product plus it’s hard rubber and not hard plastic.

  • Not much bigger than the size below it

    By on

I got the medium one for my puppy in the first few weeks i had him. Decided to get a bigger one since i like to feed him meals in these and obviously as he grows his food amount does too. Unfortunatly the biggest size is only a tiny bit bigger than the medium, dissapointing. Still a good item, just could be bigger

  • Absolute favorite toy to use and to give as a gift

    By on

This toy is fabulous! it can be twisted at different tensions for beginners to savvy dogs. all kinds of dry treats and dry veggies (frozen peas, carrot chips, sliced celery)work with it. I can not count how many of these I have purchased over the last 10 years for new puppies, friends, Christmas, birthdays.

  • It's way too easy

    By on

First of all, the small size is *really* small. Like, chihuahua small. Second, even on the most difficult setting, this toy is waaaaaay too easy. Because of that, this might be a good starter toy if your dog is a bit nervous about treat-dispensing toys or otherwise doesn't really know how to play with one.

  • Too Loose to Use

    By on

I bought this toy for my newly rescued Australian Cattle Dog. He likes it, but when you put the treats in and screw it back, it's so loose that it opens up immediately and the treats fall out. It took him all of one minute to get the treats out and then he was no longer interested.

  • Better for small dogs

    By on

Not the best for my border collie in the long run. Great while he was a puppy, but he has learned to unscrew it and it starts to wear out the screw part. Overall ok for young or small dogs, but can become more of a pain than anything with an older dog

  • Poor Quality

    By on

Our medium sized dog chewed this toy up the first time she had it. We may be able to use it once more, but that will be all. There are better quality interactive toys out there and we were disappointed that this one was destroyed so quickly.

  • Fun but...

    By on

The twist and treat toy was lots of fun; however, not the best toy for a puppy (7months) who loves to chew. The opening where the treats come out of was where the chewing started. The toy lasted about 2 hours before it had to be taken away.
