What size do I need for a 10 pound dog?
Answer by ChewyOct 15, 2017
For dogs under 10 pounds, you need the X-Small. For dogs between 8-20 pounds, you need the Small. For dogs between 20-50 pounds, you need the Medium. For dogs over 50 pounds, you need the Large. If your dog's weight is in between sizes, it's recommended to choose to size up.

Does a medium hold about a cup of med size kibble?
Answer by ChewyNov 06, 2017
The dimensions for the Medium toy are 4 x 4 inches. However, the quantity of kibble will depend on the shape and volume.

what's the best fitting treats to buy foot this toy? i want something that falls out, didn't get stuck, but doesn't just pour out.
Answer by ChewyJul 18, 2018
This toy works best with kibble and smaller treats such as training treats.

I still don’t quite understand how this toy works. Does the dog have to chew on it to get the treats out? Or does the dog have to figure out how to twist it to get the treats out?
Answer by ChewyNov 03, 2019
This toy is made of two pieces that twist together to hold your dog's favorite food or treats. You can twist the opening to make the opening smaller or larger, as wanted. As your pet plays with the toy, kibble or treats are randomly dispensed.

Easy to clean, quiet, inexpensive and my puppy loves it

I bought this for treats, but we've started using it for kibble, too, because our puppy isn't very interested in eating kibble out of her bowl. She loves getting the kibble out of this toy. It only takes her a few minutes and the toy won't hold a lot of kibble, but that's okay. The toy is easy to take apart, easy to fill, and easy to clean, and the soft material is quiet on hardwood floors.

Nice toy but terrible smell

My dog (JRT) loves to play with it, keeps him busy for a while. The smell of this material, unfortunately, is awful. I hoped it would get better and put it outside for a while but it does not. Too bad because he would love to play with it more often.

Tough Treat Dispenser

The Busy Buddy is the ideal treat dispenser. Because the 2 halves separate, it’s easy to fill, and the openings can be adjusted according to the size of treat. This is our go-to when we leave our dog home alone.

Great treat dispenser!

I put a portion of my dog's meals in this toy. He prefers this dispenser over his Kong wobbler, which was previously his favorite toy. The medium holds about half a cup of kibble. The toy has a nice vanilla scent. My only complaint is that the silicon material attracts hair, so it gets kind of gross after being rolled around by my dog. But it's easy to clean, so that doesn't really matter. It's not too easy or too hard for my dog. It takes him about 15 minutes to get all of the food out.

Whoopee Pie

We bought this because of a dog trainer's suggestion. Our dog was immediately interested. She shoved it all around seeking the prize, a treat, or piece of food. The problems we encountered were finding just the right size food. She would roll it and most of the treats came out immediately. Next she has put it somewhere and believe me we have looked everywhere, it is lost. We bought another, still can't seem to get correct treat size right and it too is now MIA ! This 34 lb 2 year old pound puppy has outsmarted us ! Even our vet said she is smart !

Love, love, love!

These are great! My dogs get one filled with their vitamin, cosiquin & a treat inside at bedtime. They love it & expect it every night.

BEST design, WORST material

My adult dog LOVES this toy and the design is brilliant. You can put treats of any size in it, screw it down & dispense treats under your control. But the "rubber" it is made of stinks! I hoped the smell would go away but it never does. It really reeks and smells sickening, gets into your furniture & your dog's fur! Also, it is much too soft for "chewers". I'm really bummed that I can't recommend it, becasue if this were made of hard plastic, it would be the best toy ever.

Fun Interactive Feeding Toy

Slow-down eating habits, add mental and physical exercise, or simply make meal times more fun with the Busy Buddy. Comes in multiple sizes for different size dogs/kibble. Can be modified to make food dispense more easily or, with a tightening twist or two, more challenging. Perforations allow your dog to smell what's inside, and the overall shape makes the Busy Buddy move well, even across a carpeted floor. A very durable product. Will also work with soft treats, but not recommended for wet food or peanut butter.

Great for my blind dog

There is enough movement to keep her active, but doesn’t roll away like a ball. It’s tricky to get the screw down top just right for release of treat in slow amount, but learning curve for me was worth it. Blind mini dachshund enjoys it. She has the purple one, but I think a larger one would be okay, especially if used for regular dog food rather than a treat. It’s tough too. She chews on it and after 6 months it’s like new.

It's Pretty Good

I like that it's rubber so it doesn't make a ton of noise when he's playing with it and getting his food/treats out. Downside is that if I don't take it from him as soon as he's done, he starts chewing on it and the little pieces of rubber bits breaks off. I don't want him to eat it.
