Lots of Fun!
By TootyH on Jan 16, 2021
I had one of these years ago and ended up giving it to a family member for their dog after ours had passed. Well, here it is 7 years later and I was ecstatic to find it again (this time in a smaller size). It took our 8 month old puppy a few minutes to figure out there were treats inside and now she's a pro at getting everything out, regardless of how tight it's closed! I only gave it 4 stars because she actually took a chunk out of one of the edges when she became frustrated the first time in trying to get a treat to fall out!

Puppy loves this!
By Emily on Dec 24, 2020
We feed our puppy mostly through toys to teach him to entertain himself. I got this to give him some variety from the kong, and he LOVES it. I showed him how to flip it over to get the kibble out and he immediately picked up on how it works and started to play with it himself. If your dog isn't that interested in a kong, this might be a really good option as it's a bit easier to do. I like that the dispenser size can easily be changed, although I wish I had ordered a slightly larger size so that I can put more of his food in there.

Dogs love them
By Ashley on Nov 25, 2020
My dogs are very food motivated and love a good challenge. So glad I found this toy. My dogs find it challenging and play with it for more than 5 minutes. It’s kept them occupied for over a hour so far. The top and bottom screw together. While I’m able to control how tight I screw the pieces to make it more challenging, the dogs seem to tighten the two pieces even more when they try to get the food. Oops. Would definitely recommend. My younger dog is a heavy chewer and hasn’t destroyed the toy yet, just little bit marks all over. Out of all the treat toys/puzzles I have, these toys are by far the most engaging for them. not very adjustable :(
By Cody on Dec 18, 2020
My dog loves this kind of toy and is pretty good at it, so I wanted to get him a new challenge (he loves his star mark bob a lot). The adjustable function on this toy does not work well- my toy only stays in place with a fixed size opening if it is all the closed. If it’s open a little bit (I have size medium and I need to open it a little to let his kibble come out), the two halves can spin freely, meaning my dog accidentally opens or closes it. It works ok and stays in place if it’s twisted all the way shut - the opening is too small for kibble but the right size for the Charlee bear treats.

Our puppy loves it!
By Anonymous on Jan 11, 2021
Our 5 month old Border Collie mix puppy prefers "working" for her food, and doesn't eat out of a regular bowl as easily. We put her food in 2 small Kongs to start, but decided to add the Twist & Treat dispenser. She loves it! When it's empty, she gets frustrated with it, and we know it's time for a refill.

I have a few Pitbull Rescues and they are powerful chewers. One even chewed a hole completely through a basketball in under 5 minutes. No toy to tuff.. The Twist and treat is the only toy he does not destroy. I put peanut butter homemade dog treats inside and put it at the hardness level to make him think and work for it.. I have 3 pitbull's Neko 14 year, not intrested. Two Socks 3 year toy killer and loves it, 4 month old 39 lbs Aiyana and she's a trip with it. Watching them work together with no aggression is great. They will play for hours with it and gives me more time to get my chores done. This is a great toy to bring a dog out of their safety zone and learn how to interact with something other than a stick they may have been able to play with if not beaten with.... I recommend this to anyone who has super chewers to puppies and all in between. If your one of the supporters of rescues in your area. Buy this toy for donations gift. The rescued dogs will love it !!!! Thank you Chewy for always finding the best toys out there, for standing by the customer and most importantly for all the wonderful representative i have talked to. Y Hands down the most pleasant company and people to interact with if something just isn't right about a purchase. Thank you for the dog food and toy donations when the wrong item was sent or the item was not what i thought after purchase. The rescue dog's say Woolf woolf whoof. Which i know is WE LOVE CHEWY!!! … more

Maybe I'm using it wrong, but I cant get kibble to stay in, the treats can get clamped in but then what? my pup doesnt get it, I dont get. Looked up youtube vids on how to use this but still don't get it... I'm happy to update my review if I can get suggestions. Am I using the wrong treats?

Awful smell
By nori on Dec 2, 2020
The toy itself is actually great - my dog loved it and it kept her busy for quite some time. However, this toy smells vile. It's not even the faint chemical smell that some toys have; it smells perfumed, like an air freshener or candle and the smell has been impossible to wash out thus far. It will also make your hand and dog smell like it :( I thought I must have gotten a defective item until I looked into the reviews and found that other reviewers also noted the smell.

Great for dinner time!
By novatheminiaussie on Nov 30, 2020
Our 2.5-month-old mini Aussies loves this treat dispenser. Didn't take her too long to figure out. She's lazy so she lazy down and drags her body across the floor like a slug when she flips the puzzle around to get her dinner out, lol. Fun to watch. I imagine this could be a great toy for fast eaters, will really slow them down and make them work for it.

Best interactive toy
By marie on Jan 15, 2021
Love this toy and obviously so does my dog. She gets peanut butter in it every morning while we are having breakfast. We call it toy. So if its not immediately around, I tell her to find toy and she does.
