Description

Determined doggy, meet your match! The Busy Buddy Ultra Stratos Dog Toy is the toughest treat-dispensing chew yet. Ultra-thick rawhide rings fit perfectly around the grooves and ridges and make it tough for pets to break them off. When they finally do, they're rewarded with a long-lasting rawhide and a reason to keep on chewing when pet parents are away at work.

Key Benefits
  • Made from nylon and durable vanilla-scented rubber
  • Ends unscrew so rawhide treat rings can be replaced again and again
  • Great for pets who suffer from separation anxiety
  • 4 Ultra-thick rawhide treat rings included. Additional rawhide treat ring refills sold separately
  • Dishwasher safe, top rack only

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

The Toy With Built-In Rewards

Busy Buddy interactive toys are made for exactly what the name says—keeping your buddy busy doing the thing he loves to do (chew). These durable treat-holding toys give him an extra reward for chewing the things he should be chewing, instead of the furniture. Playtime is sure to last much longer as he tries to solve the puzzle to get to the tasty rawhide rings.

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup

Dogs love to chew because it satisfies instinctual urges. Busy Buddy toys give them the same satisfaction they would get by catching prey in the wild and being able to eat what they catch. There's a Busy Buddy toy for every type of four-legged hunter, and each is made with durable nylon and rubber that has a pleasant vanilla scent.

More Than Just a Puzzle Toy

Aside from being a fun and challenging puzzle toy, the Busy Buddy can help prevent bad behaviors like inappropriate chewing, excessive barking and digging through the trash. It's also the perfect solution for separation anxiety or boredom and makes a great training reward. The varied textures and rawhide rings keep pups content and engaged for hours.

Treat Ring Refills

Treat Ring Refills

You can refill your dog's Busy Buddy with several flavors of treat rings, including natural rawhide, peanut butter or bacon. Some have added health benefits, like the Dental Support rings that help clean teeth and freshen breath, or Joint Support rings with glucosamine and chondroitin. Each package is labeled with the ring size that will fit.

Ultra Toys for Determined Chewers

For heavy chewers, a Busy Buddy Ultra toy might be the best option. They're designed to challenge your dog even more than regular Busy Buddy toys. The Ultra Sub has treat rings that spin, and the Ultra Stratos is the same diameter as the rings, making them harder to grip. The cone-shaped ends of the Ultra Woofer present a trickier challenge as your dog figures out how to get to the ring.

    Lifesaver for highly active breeds

By VizslaMom on Nov 13, 2021

I have an extremely active Vizsla and I cannot stress this enough - this toy saved my life. He LOVES it, and the whole line of busy buddy toys. They keep him occupied for hours and provide great mental stimulation for him. I gift these now to all my friends with highly active breeds. One star off as I agree with other reviewers that the toy does have a bit of a strong rubber odor when you first open it but it does fade.

    Mixed thoughts

By Regram on Sep 26, 2021

It had a strong fake odor that took a few days to wear off before Billy would even consider it. He likes the rings, but he’s already getting bored with them. Wish there were more flavors available in this size.

    Great chew toy

By Sara on Sep 13, 2021

My dog absolutely loves this. A little bit pricy, but well worth it for lots of entertainment. So far it's invincable to a lab puppies chew frenzies! Make sure to order the extra treats for it!

    Great for chewers

By OliversMom on May 6, 2021

This is our 2nd one in this style. The first one held up through several dogs over the years. Our 1 1/2 yr old sled dog puppy is an intense chewer. I ordered 3 different kinds/styles of these. She loves them all. So far they have held up very good. My Beagles also love them.

Yuck. Smells horrible. Neither of my dogs will touch it.

By Marty on Mar 7, 2021

Both of my dogs took one sniff and turned away. I tried slathering peanut butter on it, and they licked that off and again walked away. I took the treat ring off the toy and tried to get them to eat that - no way. I threw it out. The Starmark Bento Ball and its chicken treats were a success. Not this.

Worth it if you have a tough chewer

By Sarah on Feb 22, 2021

I bought this toy because my dog loves to chew EVERYTHING. It solves the chewing problem and keeps him occupied for HOURS! He’s had it for a couple of weeks and has barely made a dent in the original treat rings that came on the toy. Only problem I’ve had with it is that it smells very strongly of rubber and so does my dog if he plays with it for a long time.

    Highly recommended

By Axel on Mar 21, 2021

I highly recommend this for large breeds. Out 80lb German shepherd hasn’t destroyed this like the other ones. And this one will last him all day of chewing.

    Ok but....

By Jane on Oct 19, 2020

The rubber part of the toy stands up well to chewing. However, my dog losses interest because he can't get to the remaining treat to finish it. He will go after it if I slather peanut butter all over it but then what is the point of the treat " wheel"? This is a great concept and so fare a durable toy. I think they need to work on intensifying the smell and taste of the treat to keep a dog more interested. The treat is only half gone but his interest is gone.
