Description

Getting a mouth around the tasty treat won't be easy, but for determined pups, it's a prize worth having! The Busy Buddy Ultra Woofer Dog Toy was designed specifically for the toughest chewers; it's made from extra-durable nylon and rubber and holds one ultra-thick rawhide treat ring in the middle. The design of the Woofer Dog Toy makes it challenging for dogs to grip the rawhide, making it perfect for pets left alone while their parents are at work.

Key Benefits
  • Made from nylon and durable vanilla-scented rubber for the toughest chewers
  • Ends unscrew so rawhide treat rings can be replaced again and again
  • Great for pets who suffer from separation anxiety
  • 2 Ultra-thick rawhide treat rings included. Additional rawhide treat ring refills sold separately
  • Dishwasher safe, top rack only

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

The Toy With Built-In Rewards

Busy Buddy interactive toys are made for exactly what the name says—keeping your buddy busy doing the thing he loves to do (chew). These durable treat-holding toys give him an extra reward for chewing the things he should be chewing, instead of the furniture. Playtime is sure to last much longer as he tries to solve the puzzle to get to the tasty rawhide rings.

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup

Dogs love to chew because it satisfies instinctual urges. Busy Buddy toys give them the same satisfaction they would get by catching prey in the wild and being able to eat what they catch. There's a Busy Buddy toy for every type of four-legged hunter, and each is made with durable nylon and rubber that has a pleasant vanilla scent.

More Than Just a Puzzle Toy

Aside from being a fun and challenging puzzle toy, the Busy Buddy can help prevent bad behaviors like inappropriate chewing, excessive barking and digging through the trash. It's also the perfect solution for separation anxiety or boredom and makes a great training reward. The varied textures and rawhide rings keep pups content and engaged for hours.

Treat Ring Refills

Treat Ring Refills

You can refill your dog's Busy Buddy with several flavors of treat rings, including natural rawhide, peanut butter or bacon. Some have added health benefits, like the Dental Support rings that help clean teeth and freshen breath, or Joint Support rings with glucosamine and chondroitin. Each package is labeled with the ring size that will fit.

Ultra Toys for Determined Chewers

For heavy chewers, a Busy Buddy Ultra toy might be the best option. They're designed to challenge your dog even more than regular Busy Buddy toys. The Ultra Sub has treat rings that spin, and the Ultra Stratos is the same diameter as the rings, making them harder to grip. The cone-shaped ends of the Ultra Woofer present a trickier challenge as your dog figures out how to get to the ring.

  • Not Worth the Money

My dog (70 # Golden Retriever) loved the toy the first day but the second day, she unscrewed the two parts, ate the treat and then proceeded to chew on the screw. My husband was able to carve on the screw until he was able to get the two pieces back together but the Busy Buddy had been compromised and she was able to get it apart again to finish off the screw. This toy is a great idea but needs better mechanics IMO.

  • Lasted less than 2 hours

My 16lb shitzu who never destroys toys or chews through them was able to chew through this one in less than 2 hours. He was excited to eat the treat in the middle and next thing I know, the treat fell off as the toy came apart. My shitzu is not a strong chewer so I’m skeptical as to how he was able to destroy this toy so quickly. I won’t buy again

  • Not For Aggressive Chewers

I usually love all the busy buddy toys but my dog destroyed this in moments! Go with the Jack shaped toy-it's the best!!

  • Not for strong chewers

Our Staffie has the Busy Buddy Jack, and for the most part it's stood up to her destructive chewing. The purple part on that toy is her favorite part of it, so we got the Ultra Woofer thinking it might be the same material. The purple on this one is made of a much softer plastic, and she was chewing hunks of it off in just a few minutes. If your dog is a hardcore chewer, this won't cut it!

  • Did not last long

    By on

Not for strong chewers. We've had this toy for less than 24 hours and our pup has broken it. She managed to figure out how to unscrew the toy to get the treat out and then chewed through the connecting piece so that the toy can no longer be put together. Kept her occupied for a total of 10 minutes.

Our 24lb dog chewed into the purple ends and broke pieces off within 5 mins of giving it to him.

  • Busy Buddy EXCELLENT TOYS-

Only the "Ultra Woofer" is not as good as the others, all of which I would rate 10 out of 10 == the others keep my dogs busy for HOURS---the "Ultra" Woofer Dog," however, they finished up in 10 minutes, got the rawhide and abandoned.

  • great entertainment

I have 2 Chis that need distraction as I work all day, and this entertains them for hours. One of the dogs only has 2 teeth but he is able to work at it. My other Chi is 3 yr old and requires tough toys as she destroys them otherwise. I have to get her toys that would hold up to Bully breeds (at least for a while, LOL) as she is a tough cookie. I decided to try these and it has definitely held up for her and keeps her focus.

  • lasted less than an hour.

I really wanted to have a safe and fun chew toy for my dog. If you have a pet with teeth this one isn't for you. He chewed a half inch off of the soft plastic. Sorry will not be getting this again.
