This treatment does not kill ticks. It kills all life stages of fleas and treats, prevents, and controls lice infestations.

Will this be effective for a dog already infested?

This spot treatment can be used for a current infestation or as a preventative. It will begin working within 12 hours to kill fleas on contact.

Please steer clear of advantage from Chewy

This happened to my cat and dog after applying advantage to them from Chewy, I've given advantage to them in the past from the vet and this has never happened

I don't know why it stopped working but he got a flea infestation at the end of summer and it was awful. I tried Advantage II because it had great reviews. I saw major improvement after a couple of days. I have not seen anymore fleas on his fur or in our house.
