What are the sodium, protein and phosphorus levels on a dry matter basis? Is the chicken broth made with any ingredients other than chicken and water?

These recipes are made with high-quality premium meat, so phosphorus sodium, and protein will be naturally occurring, and the levels will vary from batch to batch. Applaws adult complementary recipes contain a high level of meat or fish to give cats the natural diet their body is designed to eat. The broth adds texture and variety and is a great way to ensure pets have added hydration to their diet. Quality meat or fish is cooked in filtered water to infuse it with flavor, and once the flaked meat or fish is in the tins this infused water is poured over the meat to ensure maximum flavor to the broth and minimum waste. Only the protein used as the main flavor will be used as part of the liquid broth - Applwas does not mix broths between products it comes from the cooking process in each batch.

It's another in the Brave New World of Cat Foods that boasts "only 4 ingredients!' This is code for "This flavor is NOT a complete cat food, and you should consider it only as supplemental food." But Applaws, unfortunately, doesn't put the latter in large print. So, yes, my cats like this one, but I can't serve it frequently because it's like serving your kids pizza every night without ever giving them any veges or fruit. Time for the regulators to step in, before we have an epidemic of malnourished cats. "Limited ingredient" foods need to clearly state that the food doesn't include vital nutrients for cats.

I was surprised that it was the small sized can but I looked at my order and realized that it was not the size I thought I was ordering. No problems, just need to use 2 cans to feed my multiple cats. Arrived on time, package intact, no damage. All is OK.
