My cat Emma ate it immediately

Complement Food ):

My cats LOVE this, but it says clearly on the packaging (and I didn't see it prior to purchasing, but also in the product description above) that it's not intended to be fed as your cat's main food, but rather as a complement. If you're looking for a treat or to spoil them just because, this is a great option! If you're trying to find a consistent cat food to feed them everyday, I don't think this is it, unfortunately.
Applaws variety can food
Best quality cat food we have tried. Our vet showed us how to read the labels to determine high (60%+) protein content and these fit those parameters. It’s human
Best quality cat food we have tried. Our vet showed us how to read the labels to determine high (60%+) protein content and these fit those parameters. It’s human grade chicken & fish and has a nice smell although my cats don’t like the chicken, which confused me bc it’s like opening a can of chicken of the sea. I’m not sure if it’s the taste or texture but the chicken fibers are quite large, better sized for dogs IMO. I’ve even tried to sneak it in the fish just to use it up but they eat around it. Conclusion: quality high protein food but as with all cat food, some cats won’t like all flavors. Give it a shot and experiment with the variety because I’ve found that mine devour the tuna in broth! Makes me happy to know they enjoy their meal!
“Complement”, not food.
I have been feeding this (and its corresponding kitten formula) to my cat for 6 months, only to discover this morning that it’s not really cat food, it’s a “complement”
I have been feeding this (and its corresponding kitten formula) to my cat for 6 months, only to discover this morning that it’s not really cat food, it’s a “complement”. There’s a warning label on the side that it’s only meant to be given intermittently or as a complement. So disappointed, especially for the price. Why is Chewy selling this as food and not in the treats category?
The quality of this food.
I have 3 cats and they all are crazy about this food. They love it.

My cats love these cans, it’s smelly which is great bc my cats can be picky and when I mix this food into their other food they always eat it all up.

Great to mix into dry food!
My cat has prescription food that only comes in one flavor, so I change things up by mixing in this food. She absolutely loves it (especially the Salmon and Shrimp),
My cat has prescription food that only comes in one flavor, so I change things up by mixing in this food. She absolutely loves it (especially the Salmon and Shrimp), and because it's limited ingredients it doesn't affect her kidneys (CKD)!

Cats love, just watch out for bones! (purple can)
My cats have loved this toppers variety pack for years! I also love that the ingredients list is SO minimal and simple, pretty much just the fish and some rice/broth
My cats have loved this toppers variety pack for years! I also love that the ingredients list is SO minimal and simple, pretty much just the fish and some rice/broth. I did start to notice this year that the mackerel & sardine (purple can) started having more presence of BONES so be careful, try to pick them out or just choose the other Applaws variety pack without that one flavor~ the bones can definitely be sizable and hard, wouldn't want to risk it with disrupting/harming the cats' digestive system.
