Applaws Ocean Fish Canned Cat Food, 2.47-oz can, case of 24

I have several cats who occasionally boycott their balanced homemade raw diet, a recipe I’ve been using for 20+ years. I purchased some of the Applaws fish varieties (with rice, but not completely balanced meals) to top onto their raw to entice them. I have found that most of my cats LOVE the Ocean Fish flavor better than the Tuna varieties, which surprised me. But most of the time, if I top their raw with Ocean Fish (which probably has tuna but other fish, too), or mix it into their raw, they will eat most or all of their meal. This is important to me because older cats sometimes go on a food strike. I also have one 18 year old cat who boycotts her prescription renal diet, but if I mix a bit of this into her food, she will eat all her meal. I realize this may counteract the reason she’s on a renal diet, but sometimes I (and my Vet) just want her to eat something rather than nothing. I also realize this particular version of Applaws is not a balanced diet (lacks essential vitamins and minerals) but if I have a cat who hasn’t eaten in two days and I put down some of the Ocean Fish with rice, it often entices the kitty to start eating again. I was buying the 12 can Variety Pack with 4 tuna, 4 tuna and shrimp and 4 ocean fish, but the cats just loved the ocean fish so much better than the tuna varieties, I get the case of 24 cans. It lasts a long time and cats are happy - mostly.
