This is not formulated as a complete and balanced meal. It can be fed as a food topper or alongside your cat's daily diet.

This is just a “topper”

Kitty Diamond likes it.

Cats are known to be picky and Kitty Diamond is no exception, but she immediately liked this flavor. We will buy again.

If my cat fusses over eating his regular canned tuna (a popular brand), I mix a large spoonful of Applaws in his regular food and he gobbles it up. Applaws looks and smells just like human canned tuna and my cat loves it! It's so palatable and tasty it can be used as a treat! It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it because my cat enjoys it and will lick the food bowl clean. Applaws is definitely a premier, quality cat food. The only downside is that the lid is hard to open and I have to struggle sometimes to open it.

It has been very difficult to find shreds for my cats. One has a pretty bad sensitivity to salmon, and they both have had trouble digesting most brands we've given them. They absolutely LOVE applaws. They really seem to enjoy the rice, which was a pleasant surprise. Since there are many of the tuna varieties, it really helps that they aren't mixed with salmon. The little shrimps are also a favorite of theirs. I'll definitely continue to get this brand in multiple varieties.

At first, this was the only food my cats would eat. They’re very picky now they’re not so sure.

The first 3 runs of the Applaws Tuna Fillet with Shrimp was a HUGE hit with my finnicky Tuxedo Cat Baby/ He loved it, and would eat the whole can in 3 servings/ He was very eager to have me pop open the can, and fork into his plate. This LAST batch that I bought( the 6 pack) he rejects it. Every single can. I thought to myself, well maybe the ingredients in one of the cans was not 100% IDK? All I know is that he Does not like it anymore. Either he needs Therapy, and counseling, or they Applaws changed something in their ingredients. I have No idea why he Loved it to death, and now same Label, same can, and ingredients, He Hates it. I am very upset cause this guy is Super selective. I have over 10 different cat foods that he does not eat, and they're just going to the outside Stray cat. He eats anything, and he loves the variety. Concerning my indoor Cat 'Baby', I guess I spoiled him, and he knows I cater to him. So in reality I need therapy, cause he is playing me. To be continued. Thanks

I have 3 cats and as you know finding a food they all like is difficult. When I got these free with an order (brilliant marketing BTW) I tried it, and my cats were literally fighting to get to this bowl over the other two. Is it expensive? Yes, ridiculously so. Is it justified? Also yes. When you open the can you can smell and see the quality. My daughter has asked multiple times if we can just eat it ourselves! I've decided to just get two cases of the 5.5 ounce cans and split then between the 3 bowls. My babies deserve quality food they get excited about.
