Rudest CS rep I ever felt with at chewy
Ord arrived with treats in same box as heavy liter boxes, all treat ctn were damaged due to heavy liter mashing them. I called to get resolved & the FIRST CSR I spoke with basically said it was my fault, she was extremely rude, something I have never encountered with chewy. I asked her to transfer me to another person and she disconnected me. I called back and this time the CSR resolved my issue, handled the problem professionally and was very personable, which is what I usually am use to when calling with an issue. I could not understand the 1st CSR name but I wish I had her name. She certainly should not be in CS dept. in my opinion. I was respectful & nice to her, certainly did not expect the attitude she displayed. 1st rep I rate a 0, 2nd rep who resolved problem & placed replacement Ord receives a 10.
No more tracking
I bought Slide kitty litter because I had read that it was a good product. It has totally exceeded my expectations. My floors were alway in need of clean up from my kitty walking up from the basement after using his litter box. I was totally surprised after I started using Slide when there was hardly any litter tracked on my hardwood floors. I am so happy I read about Slide litter. It has saved me a lot of cleanup after my beautiful kitty comes back from his litter box. Thank you Arm and Hammer.
Disappointed.
We have been ordering this litter from you for years. But over the last year it has been a hit or a miss. It can be one of two colors. If it is brown, it doesn’t help with smell. If the color is gray, it works. Lately it seems you just keep sending us the brown litter. I clean the litter box at least twice a day, sometimes more if needed. There is no way my house should smell this bad. I just changed the litter and the pans a few days ago and it smells like it’s been in there for weeks. Please only send us the good stuff. We bought some at another store recently and it was gray. Covered up any smell immediately. I don’t want to have to start buying from somewhere else but I will. Please fix this problem. The litter is too expensive to not work.
damaged goods
My most recent delivery of cat litter came smashed up. The order included 2 boxes and one was smashed. The protective plastic wrap was still intact so no moisture got to it, however the cardboard separator was damaged allowing the box to crumple. This is the first time my order came like this so I know it's just a random event.
Clump and STINK
This smells so bad. It’s day three of it and I have scooped it several times a day trying to see if that helps. Day one was great. Yesterday was like, uuummm, okaaaayyy *scoop, scoop, scoop*. Today I’m at the other end of the house and can smell it with nothing in it. It’s awful. It does clump, very low dust, very low to almost zero tracking. So I have it two stars. But I’m gonna have to go back to pretty litter and just vacuum all time. I think this litter could work if the box is in its own room or a basement. We don’t have that option.
Great litter, smells bad
Scoops easy, clumps great, very little residue sticking to cats and getting on the floor. Overall great litter unless you have a nose. Straight out of the box something just smells off about this litter. Even after a few days of use by my cats and i can smell the litter box from across the room. And trust me, I scrub and clean out litter boxes every 8-10 weeks, so when I switched to this it was fresh clean boxes. I switched to this when Fresh Step was gone a few months back when Clorox had that data breach. I'm very happy to see that one back in stock because I can switch away from this.
pretty good if you have a plastic litter box
I used to use Clump n Seal Slide with standard plastic litter box and it worked pretty well from a slide perspective. Clump...well they all make decent clumping litters. Back to Slide - it does not slide in a stainless litter box. I purchased stainless and this litter performs like other litters in a standard box. I still buy it, but there is no "slide" happening!
Solved my litter problems
I just got my first cat ever in 12/2023 and I ended up with this litter after trying and absolutely hating Dr. Elsey's Unscented clay litter. Best switch I could've made, it solved all my previous litter problems wonderfully: it clumps fantastically, poop/pee don't stick at all to the box, and I can only smell the litter rather than what's been deposited into it. My only complaint I guess is that the litter is VERY fragrant, especially when you're refilling the box, but I'd rather choke myself smelling artificial floral scent than constantly being able to smell my cat's pee and poop until I scoop them out. I've been using this litter for about a month now and there's no way I'm going back to Dr. Elsey's, I'd only switch to something else if I could be convinced it's even better than this one (which I highly doubt)
Best litter in the game!!
I've used about 5 different brands and types of top tier kitty litter. This by far I'd the best out of all I have tried. By "the best" I am talking best value for the money. Also is the cleanest litter as well. As long as you scoop the box in the AM one time and the PM one time, you can make 4 inches of litter last 2 weeks.. 2 weeks and a day if your lucky!!!..lol. by far the best bang for the buck.. buy it try it and you can thank me later.. or your wallet can thank Mr later!!
Easy to Clean!
I switched over to this brand after trying a non-clumping brand. I hated the non-clumping since the pee would sink to the bottom and basically turned the litter into concrete. This brand, however, is really easy to clean as the litter is really fine granules. The pee clumps up well, and the lavender smell is pretty strong on the first pour but settles after. I highly recommend if you have a cat or two yourself since this is for a two-cat household.
