These treats are filled by weight as well opposed to piece count. On occasion in order to meet minimum weight requirements, we will add an additional treat. When this occurs you will typically notice an odd number of treats in the bag.
is this product made in the United States and do the ingredients come from the United States?

The vast majority of ingredients used in Purina products made in the U.S. are sourced here in the U.S. Like other food companies, we do source a limited amount of ingredients from other countries. These ingredients are primarily essential nutrients, such as taurine and B vitamins that are not commonly available in the U.S. in the quantities we need and are sourced in China.
