Benebone Bacon Flavor Wishbone Tough Dog Chew Toy, Medium

While the family dog loves it, it's not durable enough to withstand a tough chewer. It's unfortunate as it was their favourite chew toy. The material is soft enough that it can be chewed into but hard enough that it'll leave jagged sharp bits that cause bleeding. We tried to salvage it by removing and smoothing out the sharp bits but there would just be more created as they chewed. Eventually, we had to dispose of it after less than a handful of uses.

I have a large breed dog and he loves these. When his dog friend comes over she will "borrow" his and chew on it as well. I highly suggest monitoring your dog while chewing these. Pieces can come off and you don't want them swallowing them and as the toy gets smaller you will need to eventually replace it. It will get a rough texture as they chew it so we will every so often sand it down and rinse it off so it doesn't harm our dog's mouth. I am happy with the Benebone chews and would rather this than rawhide or bully sticks.

This plastic "bone" isn't great for tough chewers, in spite of what it says. It became sharp, and sharp pieces also break off and get ingested, which didn't go well for my dog as they passed through (and out of) her body. Caused several days of bleeding, and I threw all her Benebones away.
