The Princess has always been a picky eater. She doesn't like chicken or beef. We finally got her to eat the Blue Basics Salmon & Potato on a semi-regular basis. Then, just by chance this past Thanksgiving we fed her some turkey with her kibble. OMG, I've never seen her so excited. So, we order the Basics Turkey & Potato. She hasn't missed finishing a meal since!

My 3 yr old English yellow lab had severe reaction to this GRAIN free food! If your dog has never tried grain free food RUN from the blue buffalo! Only tried very small amount added to her Nutro lamb and brown rice. second night up at 1:30AM every 2 hrs going outside to very messy dog duty! THATS why the big green warning label on the top of bag GRAIN FREE! Staying with NUTRO! Nutro lamb and brown rice has very little chicken fat for dogs sensitive to chicken. Blue buffalo grain free might be ok for your dog if they were raised on grain free. But if not Run from the buffalo! Lol

I have a 16 y/o dog and a two year old dog and they both were having gut issues on their old food. Not sure if they changed the formula or something on their old kibble, but in the last six months we were dealing with stomach upsets pretty frequently and terrible gas. Once I switched them over to Blue Buffalo Basics, everything calmed down fairly quickly. I'd say withing two weeks there was way less gas happening and zero stomach upset. Definitely recommend for anyone dealing with dogs that have sensitive stomachs or are just older.
Gas has improved!

My Frenchie had the worst gas and the stinkiest burps. I've tried so many foods for her and this one has turned completely eliminated her burps and her gas is now very minimal. Any food with rice makes her bloated, so this is perfect. I have also noticed her fur is softer.
It improved my dog's stool within 2 weeks!

My dog had "low quality poops" that were consistently messy to clean up. I tried adding a probiotic to his diet. Nope. I tried 3 other well-known brands of dog kibble, all of them purportedly designed for sensitive stomach/allergies. I read about avoiding grains, yet was surprised to find those very brands often included grains (corn was a big one).I read all the labels intently trying to figure out what was causing the problem. I had been advised by my vet to just move on to Hill's Biome but because that food is wildly expensive, I was determined to give it one more try with a slightly less expensive brand. Blue Buffalo Basics Skin & Stomach Care, Adult Grain-Free Turkey & Potato has done the trick and the improvement is very noticeable. Picking up after my dog is a lot less troublesome and unpleasant now!
