Where are the ingredients sourced?

Blue Buffalo foods and treats are manufactured here in the USA. Blue Buffalo sources as many ingredients as possible from the U.S. Most of their grains and meats come from the USA. There are occasions when they source meat from other countries. For example, the lamb we use can be free range from the USA, Australia, or New Zealand. When the ingredients are not readily available in the U.S., such as vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, their suppliers work with only reputable foreign companies and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of these meats or grains are sourced from China. All of the ingredients are USDA or FDA-approved and inspected as applicable.
About how many treats are in a 4 oz bag

There will be approximately 85 Bits (give or take about 10) in a 4 ounce package. Because product density and size can vary slightly from batch to batch, this amount is approximate. Blue Buffalo packages all of their products by weight rather than by volume.

These treats have 10.0% min crude protein and 7.0% min crude fat. Due to your pet's diagnosed condition, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to ensure this would be a good fit for your pet's current treatment plan.
