The brown rice is sourced from suppliers in the United States and Canada that meet rigourous quality assurance standards and product specifications. Blue Buffalo has continued to follow the FDA's ongoing study of arsenic levels in rice, and there have been no findings of unsafe levels of arsenic found in US sources of brown rice, and the FDA has specifically stated that it has found no reason to believe that rice in the US is unsafe.
