I have been using Blue Buffalo Life Protection series dating back to 2008/2009 and I have not had any issues with this brand. I have 2 Dobermans and I mix the Lamb
I have been using Blue Buffalo Life Protection series dating back to 2008/2009 and I have not had any issues with this brand. I have 2 Dobermans and I mix the Lamb and the Salmon together 50/50 and our Dobermans simply love it. We have had (5) Dobermans dating back to 1981 to date, Blue Buffalo is the best food yet. I recommend that you look at the FDA website and look up "recalls" before you take another person's recommendation on dog food, brand, dry or wet, series and the type of a recall it was, not all opinions are correct and fact based

Amount of broken pieces ... the crumbling is more than normal
There is more than normal crumbs in this bag ... it leaves mess in the girls bowls every feeding and cause more time in clean up to avoid ants or other rodents..not

Our dog Talaia is loving her new dog kibble! We've used Blue Buffalo for years with our previous big dog, so it was natural to use the puppy formula and now the adult large breed with this new dog. She's a Great Pyrenees so we kept her on puppy formula for 2 years and was more than ready to start this formula. She's been chowing down for 2 weeks on it! We love the bigger and smaller chunks in it. And Talaia doesn't overeat it either. We love that it's meant for the bigger boned dogs, too. We are very happy and will buy it again and again. Thanks!
