This recipe contains 3.4% carbohydrates on an as-fed basis.

My cat loves this food , But why Carrageenan which is not good for cats especially if they have IBD like my cat . It's hard to find cat food in morsels that aren't big . My cat can't eat big pieces and this morsel is perfect . One more thing what is the Phosperous % in this food ?

The formulas has 0.41% phosphorus as-fed. The carrageenan used in the product is a food grade, AAFCO and FDA approved ingredient. It is used in some canned formulas for its use as a stabilizer and thickener. Carrageenan is a natural ingredient that is derived from a red seaweed extract.

What is the ash and magnesium count in this food ?Does it promote urinary tract health ?

This formula has 0.03% magnesium as-fed and 3% ash as-fed.

I was using this flavor and the tuna of the same brand for months and my cats liked it at first but wouldn't touch it the last couple months I ordered it. I donated them to my neighbors cats that don't get wet food often and they ate it. Perhaps there was an issue with the flavor consistency.

I read ingredients again and discovered carrageenan in the list, which i’ve been avoiding for years. Forgot to check for it here and am disappointed to see it. Switching them to another brand that is carrageenan free and when that’s done, I won’t buy this again.

The cats won’t eat it because it’s too much like pate, which the do not like. Thank goodness for Chewy’s refund policy. But now I have to search for a new soft food. Boo Blue Buffalo.
