5.5-oz: For weight loss, feed 1/2 to 1 can per 6 to 8 lbs. of body weight per day. For weight maintenance, feed 3/4 to 1 1/4 cans per 6 to 8 lbs. of body weight per day.
Refrigerate unused portion.
Start by mixing 25% of BLUE with your cat's old food, and gradually increase the proportion of BLUE over the next 7 days.

We tried one of each of the highly recommended weight loss wet cat foods: Hills Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, Blue Buffalo and Royal Canin. We put the four cans in front of him and let him choose. He smelled them first and then ate all of the Royal Canin and ate all of the Blue Buffalo. I kept mixing the order up and he kept finding his favorites. I am using both Royal Canin and Blue Buffalo in his diet for variety. He tasted but did not eat the Hills Science Diet and ate 1/3 of the Purina ProPlan once the other two were gone.
