I will not buy this again for our cats. It was recalled because of metal in the cat food. This isn't the first time Blue Buffalo has been recalled, I found out. Chewy was wonderful and refunded our money. I will stick with Tiki Cat Born Carnivore cat food, they have never had a recall on their cat food.

Mittens is still in the "I don't know yet" stage, as from the time we rescued her she always ate the veterinarian Blue Buffalo urinary/weight loss because our male Cat PurrC ate that for bladder stones. We lost PurrC in may of this year and there was half a bag left so she continued eating it until running out. I compared the ingredients from that cat food with the bag just purchased. Hopefully, she will come to like it.

Ordered this to help out a young WILD stray cat that started sleeping under our greenhouse. Blue Buffalo dry foods have nutrient dense foods so hopefully this will help him out this winter. Maybe we’ll be able to entice him to trust and accept us and let us catch him and add him to our family .inside.

My cat developed teary red eyes while on this food, altho he loved it. I switched him to a different grain free dry food and it slowly improved to the point that now, his eye condition has cleared dramatically. Chicken flavored wet food seems to trigger reoccurrence so I’m guessing he’s allergic to a protein in some chicken flavored foods??? The dry food he’s on now specifies “white meat chicken” and he’s OK so maybe something in other chicken parts is the culprit.
