Chewy is great, but dog food had bugs/worms in food

The bugs appeared to have been dead a for a while. Most of them were dry (although I did not throughly inspect them all-and there were A LOT). They were entirely covered in the coating that’s on the kibble, which made me think they were there before the coating was put on the kibble in the factory (not sure if that’s even possible as I don’t know the production procedures) Submitted a report to the FDA. Will be switching food for our pup.

My Berner Bear has a mast cell tumor that is inoperable. Prednisone has made it shrink significantly, but he will need to stay on it for the remainder of his life. Prednisone causes loss of muscle mass, so I switched to this because it was the highest protein content I could find. What a difference! After three weeks on it he no longer struggles to get in my car and his energy is improving. It is high protein/fiber, and low fat so I'm hoping he will drop a few pounds while on it too. So glad we switched to this brand and formula! I got the chicken flavor and he loves it!
