Bought it to give our dog more protein and less carbs. She is an active dog so needed something more substantial. That said it is expensive. It has gone up $10 in price since I purchases it a month ago. People won’t buy the food if it is $80 a bag including tax.

I did a ton of research and this brand was highly recommended. My dog was seemingly enjoying the food at first, with a gradual transition, but stools were getting more and more soft. After about a week on just this food, he developed terrible diarrhea and won't even touch it now. I was really shocked to realize it has chicken meal as the second ingredient. Not what I expected from a salmon dog food. Thankfully Chewy gave us a full refund.
He likes it
He seems to like this food. However it seems to have small nuggets that fall out of his mouth! St. Bernard!

My pup did not do well
Gave our poor dog the runs...terrible, still dealing with it.

The battle is over: Axel eats it.
Nice that it is available via Chewy. The price is acceptable for a good, quality food. Axel eats it. We were having difficulty finding a good food he would eat

I thought I was purchasing adult dog food to transition my pup. I had no idea this item was intended for large breed dogs.

Good quality food
I do dog food rotation a couple times a year. My dog adjusted well to this food. Firm poo and less of it, which means he must be absorbing the nutrients well.
