It's not safe for the dog to chewy on any foreign substance of any kind. Besides potential internal damage it could also pose as a choking hazard.

Does this work on a martingale collar?

Since a Martingale collar does not have an open end, the collar cannot be threaded through the disk on the collar. The disk would need to be attached using a different type of collar.

My dog unfortunately has issues where he scuffs his paw pads and sometimes peels them off basically if he gets the opportunity to chew on it. Therefore, he makes them worse and then we have to bandage him, clean them everyday, cone him, etc. As you can imagine, it causes him anxiety. After using this calming disc, you can see it’s a night and day difference. I was truly shocked by how much it helped him! Granted, we also used CBD, but at first we were only using CBD and I definitely saw an even greater improvement after adding the calming disc.
